As yet more proof of the disturbing effects of global warming, a massive chunk of ice, estimated at 22 miles by 12 miles, has broken off of the continent of Antarctica.
Or more proof of a massive amount of unmelted ice and snow that could have accumulated on both poles over the last thirteen thousand years and is now pushing huge chunks of ice off the edge of the shelf?
[Scientists] were not entirely surprised, since the shelf of Pine Island Glacier has been inching forward at the rate of 2.5 miles a year, and large chunks have been seen breaking off every five or six years, but this chunk of ice is twice the size of any previous ones.
And don’t forget the violent volcanic activity around the Pacific Rim over the last few months as the earth’s crust shifts…

Man made gobal warming is a product of false computer models from the IPCC, none of which has managed to model the Earths climate, and are at present being averaged out, they predicted warming since 1998 and temperatures have fallen. 15 years is a very long time to be wrong. The problem with the IPCC is that Co2 warming was a matter of faith and biased the models, none of which could model the ocean which covers 2/3rds of the globe and is unaffected by CO2 warming. They have modeled an Earth, but it is not the one we know, in which case policy should not be derived from false conclusions from false model data.

Stories like these need to be promoted to keep the ruse of Anthropogenic global warming alive by those who could benefit financially from it. Real global warming is cyclical and much more due to volcanic activity than to human activity. The elites and criminals like Al Gore need to keep pounding the lie in the hope that is will be accepted, because they will be the ones to benefit by the carbon trading schemes. Despite this gloom and doom, the global ice sheet has been widely reported as growing in 2013. The real story is the trend toward global cooling and a mini-ice age, so they need to hurry and try to get their economy-destroying carbon rules in place. True to form, Obama passed executive orders for carbon reductions here, as even congress (def: group of gorillas) would not take that issue on.

This is just stupid. As a little boy, I learned that the ice cap there routinely sheds huge icebergs of this size. As the ice cap grows, the edges hit warmer waters and shed ice. This is NOT proof of global warming. In fact, the ice cap has been increasing at the South Pole and it’s bigger than ever. Whoever authored this story is full of crap.

Please, people, don’t sucked in by the lies about “Global Warming”. TPTB rely on the fact that you’ve gotten an inferior education in a public school. It is now SUMMER in Antarctica–their seasons are opposite ours because they’re south of the equator, and the ice shelf melts for hundreds of miles out from the coast every summer and has as long as man has been exploring Antarctica. Around 1911, a book chronicling the exploration of the South Pole (Antarctica) about Sir Ernest Shackleton’s expeditions, entitled “South”, explains in detail about what happened to Shackleton when they arrived too late in the season (May or June), when the seas froze solid about 400 miles out before they reached the coast. Their ship was crushed by the ice, and they were trapped until the ice again melted and broke away into an ice floe that floated near a place called “Elephant Island”, where they were able to row their life boats and get off the melting ice. Shackleton then rowed about 700 miles north to a Norwegian whaling camp, from where he arranged for another ship to rescue his men off the island before the ocean froze again. It has nothing to do with global warming you goose! Glaciers build up from the top so an increase of snow/ice is required and has pushed outward so in actual fact their has been an 29% increase in ice this year alone in the Antarctic.
