Chinese Elite Building Baby Trafficking Network to gain entry to U.S.

There is one thing with the made in America label the elite of China are flocking to buy and it may not be exactly what any rational person might think.

Since 2012 various news outlets and especially those in Alternative media have been reporting the unsettling trend of the Chinese elite buying up properties including private and corporate at a alarming rate. An excerpt from an article in Forbes magazine had this to say in 2012.

They are rich; they are connected, and live in a country with an economy that grows by leaps and bounds. They are China’s rich. But they want to immigrate to America, a country with an economy barely growing. According to an Associate Press article, moving overseas is on the top of China’s wealthy wish list—with the US being the most desirable destination. Why? What does the American society possess that China is still missing?

This past week CNBC reported a new study released by Hurun shows that now the most corrupt of China’s elite are being granted safe haven for their riches in America and are moving here at an alarming rate.

Data from the latest Hurun report offer the latest snapshot of China’s worrying wealth flight, with massive numbers of rich Chinese taking their families and fortunes overseas. Previous studies show the main reasons rich Chinese are leaving is to pursue better educations for their kids, and to escape the pollution and overcrowding in urban China.

The report from Hurun, shows that 64 percent of Chinese millionaires have either emigrated or plan to emigrate—taking their spending and fortunes with them. The United States is their favorite destination.

Most are looking for permanent residences, Hurun said. The United States was their top destination, which any real estate agent in San Francisco, Seattle or New York can confirm. Europe is their second favorite destination, followed by Canada, Australia, Singapore and Hong Kong.

According to WealthInsight, the Chinese wealthy now have about $658 billion stashed in offshore assets. Boston Consulting Group puts the number lower, at around $450 billion, but says offshore investments are expected to double in the next three years.

(Reuters) – Wealthy Chinese are hiring American women to serve as surrogates for their children, creating a small but growing business in $120,000 “designer” American babies for China’s elite.

Surrogacy agencies in China and the United States are catering to wealthy Chinese who want a baby outside the country’s restrictive family planning policies, who are unable to conceive themselves, or who are seeking U.S. citizenship for their children.

Emigration as a family is another draw – U.S. citizens may apply for Green Cards for their parents when they turn 21. While there is no data on the total number of Chinese who have sought or used U.S. surrogates, agencies in both countries say demand has risen rapidly in the last two years.

U.S. fertility clinics and surrogacy agencies are creating Chinese-language websites and hiring Mandarin speakers. Boston-based Circle Surrogacy has handled half a dozen Chinese surrogacy cases over the last five years, said president John Weltman.

“I would be surprised if you called me back in four months and that number hadn’t doubled,” he said. “That’s the level of interest we’ve seen this year from China and the very serious conversations we’ve had with people who I think will be joining us in the next three or four months.”

China’s Rich Now Ordering Genetically Superior Designer Babies Through American Surrogacy

While surrogacies have become so expensive in the U.S. that American families are now turning to countries like India, more and more of China’s upper crust is hiring American women to serve as surrogates for their children. The surrogate alone costs between $22,000 to $30,000, on top of which intended parents have to pay an agency fee of about $17,000 to $20,000, and legal fees of up to $13,000. There are also pre-natal care and delivery fees of up to $16,000.

But for the Chinese who can afford it, there are a number of auxiliary benefits to using American surrogates. For one thing, surrogacy is illegal in China, and many infertile couples prefer to have a child that is biologically theirs rather than adopt. For some, surrogacy in American represents a way to have a second child outside China’s birth planning policy.

In addition, when the surrogate child turns 21, as a natural born U.S. citizen he or she may then apply for permanent residency for their parents, at which time the whole family could emigrate to the U.S., an ideal option for families who fear they may eventually become targeted by the government and want a way out of the country.
