Emails Confirm: Bank Of America Pays Trolls To Terrorize The Internet

The motive is simple. Of course they would never want to destroy their ”brand” by speaking the truth, so they choose to lie behind a fake Twitter or Facebook account. For instance, Bank of America employees can’t cuss out their customers, but a team of 20 trolls can sure do a lot of stalking.
Bank of America certainly knows the value of Twitter and Facebook’s fake accounts on the New York Stock Exchange — the create them, and they in turn sell Twitter and Facebook stocks!
Recently, a Washington state activist named Andrew Hendricks published copies of emails retrieved via a FOIA request.
The email chain reveals that Bank of America operates a team of 20 people who do “Social Media Trolling” all day and then “Pass it to us around the country.” This is revealed by their Western Region lead intelligence analyst, who retired from the Washington State Patrol late in 2012.
This social media trolling team notified the Washington State Patrol of a protest coming up on November 5, 2013 about a month after the event page was posted on Facebook.
WSP then spent the next month and a half preparing for the three hour event, spending more than 600 total hours of response time and $28,000 on direct labor costs, including a Cessna 206 flying overhead to videotape the event. Two Rapid Deployment Force units (D1 and D8) responded to the event as riot police just in case all hell broke loose.
