FEMA Region 3 Has Been Activated: Emergency Situation Breaking In West Virginia

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

State of Emergency: EMERGENCY SITUATION BREAKING IN WEST VIRGINIA

Many Reports are coming in to Sentinel Command of massive fighting breaking loose in West Virginia over Bottled water as the Chemical Spill Situation continues.

As predicted, Fema Region 3 has now been activated, National Guard has also been been called out as this area in West Virginia has been declared a state of emergency. This chemical spill is now affecting 9 counties and over 100,000 residents are directly affected.

All water in the area has been contaminated with the chemical (4-Methylcyclohexane Methanol), a chemical used in the coal industry. This chemical will make a person sick but it is not deadly unless ingested in huge quantity.

The incident occurred Thursday on the Elk River in Charleston, West Virginia’s capital and largest city, upriver from the eastern U.S. state’s largest water treatment plant.

There have been several reports that indicate despite the intervention of State officials; FEMA; the National Guard and local law enforcement, slow distribution of water may be causing tension among the concerned populous. (See FEMA press release)

All stores have been depleted of bottled water, situation has become desperate as citizens are now fighting over resources.

Update: Over 300,000 are affected in a 9 county area.

Update: West Virginia 9/11: FEMA Region 3 is a False Flag for the EPA Power ( Here’s Why-Video) The West Virginia chemical spill will likely have a big influence on the US Senate, which is now unlikely to pass the bill. In West Virginia, federal authorities opened an investigation into what caused the leak that poisoned the river and shut down much of the state’s capital, Charleston and surrounding counties. US Attorney Booth Goodwin said authorities will take whatever action is appropriate based on the evidence found, reports the Associated Press.

CDC issued the state of emergency, Schools, restaurants and businesses have been shut down.

The company that spilled the MCHM is called Freedom Industries of course. The largest water treatment plant affected by the spill is operated by the American Water Co. I think that this is just the beginning of this story!

      • Theoferrum

As reported by the Outlaw Josey Wales – don’t forget that one…

      • freedomringsforall

I had to chuckle at that too!

Freedom industries spills the chemicals that if anything goes out of hand will cause martial law.

That has got to at least make you crack a grin of irony.

        • gvugvu

If the universe has a sense of humour, ‘irony’ is its name.

These are the people that are going to die when the SHTF. I wonder how many prepares out there had water filtration systems and don’t have to worry about the water because they were prepared? If I lived in that aria, I would not be fighting for water, I would go straight to home depot and get a .05 micron ceramic water filter and some 5 gallon buckets. With that I could filter my own water at the house and there would be no issues. I got two words for these people that are dependent on government for there daily bread, “Life Straw”. Look it up and stop your dependence on the government for your very life. God help you and may your brain cell multiply, a lot.

      • Bronson

Very strange coincidence with the names of these companies. Also does anyone know the route of the river? how many ponds/lakes does it feed into? How many lower states will this drain to?
This will create a chain reaction killing many fresh water fish, and animals that rely on fresh water.

All these disasters, one after another, things are not adding up.

race war has been going on for some time, it s overdue for caucasians who have been the object to retaliate and win this thing, clean up this land and incarcerate government families that have been the effect of this labor them till death

URGENT MESSAGE FOR THOSE IN WV SPILL ZONE

As a resident of WV in a unaffected county north I have info on how to get water. Go to an uneffected county municipal watter supplier they will sell you water for pennys on the gallon just bring containers. Most dont know that this is standard practice. I hope this helps those who are in need.

      • tayronachan

@Robert, Brilliant, and so simple! Sometimes the obvious needs to be mentioned.

      • Wirkbot

In the future these people may want to consider being preppers. Having stored water on hand is the most important issue to deal with in regard to emergency preparedness:

I live in the very epicenter of this event. Trust me, it isn’t martial law out here. And the “civil unrest” you keep hearing about? It’s nothing compared to what this town is like every day. The only difference is that the people are screaming at each other and fighting over water instead of traffic stress, adulterous affairs getting busted by spouses, and pills. These three agents cause “civil unrest” on a regular basis around here that makes the lines of 20-30 people who were waiting on their water yesterday look like a stroll through Disney Land.

      • gvugvu

That’s no fun. Where’s the drama in that?!

      • bakertech

I wonder if it is another test run to find out if it works and gain experience. I consider this regime so evil I do not have any trust. I think it is odd there are different tragic events like this on occasion. Flu outbreaks, salmonella poisoning outbreaks, and here we have water contamination. These events break onto the scene just to fade away. Could be dry runs to determine what will work best to bring the citizens to their knees, and cause chaos and war so sharia law can be declared. Terrorism YES!

        • Bronson

The flu shot does not even give protection from the Swine Flue. Although MSM will state that the flue shot does offer a little protection….I do not believe it offers any type of protection against the Swine Flu….Plus Most of the different strains of Flu, has been produced, and or altered in laboratories.
Yes, I see you have noticed much, and your eyes are open. With this in mind they are trying to cover all bases.

‘sharia law’, That’s some dumb trolling. The muslims do not own all banks and media, the jew controls the banks, media, schools, all major companies, ALL of them ever since their holohoax. http://www.thezog.wordpress.com Either you’re a troll or you watch liar hannity and fox news, murdoch is jew, all the media are. You better get your facts straight. If it was sharia law why would the jew world order repbulicans be swarming muslims and every other immigrant on us, because that makes more dummies to control and more leeches so the jew can bring down the white race and all working Americans. Maybe you’ll try to tell us muslims also control the jew federal reserve even though the jwo has been killing them by the milion for the last ten years overseas, thanks to stupid Americans.

“Make no mistake about it, we intend to keep bashing the dead white males, and the live ones, and the females too, until the social construct known as the white race is destroyed – not deconstructed but destroyed.” Noel Ignatiev – jew Harvard Professor

There’s a lots of trolls up down the page trying to mix it up and just point to koch brothers bunk or obama hates coal bunk as if it’s not a giant organized ring but instead just this or that villian, which is psy ops to distract from the jew tribe that controls it all. All of the big companies are owned by jews, oil, coal all of them, the jew also controls all the agencies, see thezog, the epa that lets the scum industries dump their junk all over the enviroment and put poison in your food. Then there’s the trolls trying to defend big coal when we are overcharged for most oil gas coal energy products – because sheople have been ignorant and kept buying their junk gas guzzlers. The disinfo trolls blubbering to defend the ‘industry’ conveniently forget most of our resources are shipped overseas by the ‘industry’, then we pay them again for the finished products, all while jobs for most products got shipped overseas by their giant jew world order global ring. Know who runs the world.

      • asilisart

Yeah, domestic terrorism to justify shutting down the coal industry.

So let’s suppose we allow large scale fracking…. They will then drill and pump all kinds of water… chemicals and radioactive stuff down there.. apply high pressures and induce cracking of the rock substrata …then along will come floods at some point… like here in the UK…and all the aquifers …rivers…..canals…streams ..lakes…tidal surges…suddenly become one big water exchange and hey presto ….fracking chemicals enter the planetary hydrological cycle…all water then becomes regulated as most of it will be toxic and we can finally have water wars and water police….(actually make that water armies)

Milankovitch theory describes the collective effects of changes in the Earth’s movements upon its climate, named after Serbian geophysicist and astronomer Milutin Milanković, who worked on it during First World War internment. Milanković mathematically theorized that variations in eccentricity, axial tilt, and precession of the Earth’s orbit determined climatic patterns on Earth through orbital forcing.

I forgot which state this was in…but I seen a guy whose water was a victim of cracking. His water ignites when applied w/ fire. The County basically told him there’s nothing they can do and he should leave a fire lit from the water flowing from his metal pipe to try and burn off the bad chemicals. I don’t understand any Government allowing Oil companies to destroy and victimize people like this. I just really don’t understand. On top of all this..Obama is selling Great Lakes fresh water over-seas and as an after effect of this our Great Lakes for the first time have not produced more water…in fact the water table has read low for the first time in forever. I’ll say it again… I really don’t understand how these Companies are allowed to do this. Maybe people need to start taking the law into their own hands and destroy these cracking areas. People have forgotten that if our leaders fail to protect and serve it’s up to the citizens to make a citizens arrest and bring these people down.

        • back_up_for_the_boys

So where is the EPA when we REALLY need them to slap the government upside the head. You know, the ones who are really polluting to the point of the global demise

        • Freeamerican

traceridefree, Obama does not sell anything. He is not a salesman he’s a lackey for the jew world order just like every politician in government including yours. The 911 coup was years before obama, the ndaa was passed by most all of them, jobs went overseas under all of them, the epa and fda has been gutted under all of them.

back up for the boys, The agencies were taken over a long time ago along with everything else, jew world order, look over the lists at thezog.wordpress for yourself.

      Thank you coal industry.

      • Mayhem

Why are you blaming coal? Do you not know that activated carbon is, by far and away, the best filtering matrix regarding water. Anything that can be passed through it for that matter.

We grow grass on great mountains of the beautiful black stuff to keep the dust down while we’re not using it.

We can’t make enough CO2, imo, and we really should be trying to as we’ll need the extra plant food during the coming 90,000 year Ice maximum. It’ll help us sustain on the slither, 20°, either side of the equator, that remains arable at such times.

        • Anonymous

In case you didn’t know, activated Charcoal and Coal are to completely different things.

        • Mayhem

Yes they are but only by degrees. Carbon is my point but thanks for clearing that up. May i use the lump of coal de-odorizing the fridge analogy?

While reverse osmosis (RO) filters are expensive, they remove all chemicals larger than a water molecule. and ALL bacteria, organisms and chemicals.

We added such a filter [for ALL COOKING AND DRINKING water] to our municipal water after our filtration system [to remove hard-water elements, Iron and then chlorination with huge carbon filter to remove traces of bacteria and odors]

Because RO water is so pure, we use it to cleanse cuts and for our eye-wash. After you scrub your hands with pre RO water and then use a clean white towel to rinse with RO water and dry your hands… it is shocking to see the residual grime on the cloth. It is easy to install.

    • RayG

This is but normalizing the idea of FEMA regions and ignoring State government. Where is the governor of West Virginia in this crisis? Many fire departments have 6 to 8000 gallon water trucks that could be used to supply people with potable water in the areas most affected. Fire departments are under the authority of the State, not FEMA.

    • J.J.

A coal mine company knows the issue to the chemicals used in this industry. EPA is on them coal industry like a gay man on a little boy! In other words… HEAVY REGULATIONS! Knowing that Barry hates the coal industry, I will not be surprise if the OBAMA CIA is behind this!

Brother and sisters… Buy yourself some property in the country and drill a water well with a home filter system. This is the tip of the iceberg. It will get worse and other companies will have a “chemical spell.”

      James

Ps. Don’t be surprise if the if we in this forum will getting probe by the IRS in order to create trumped up charges for speaking the truth! It’s happening to me and this the IRS agent name and number:

You’d be surprised in how many places in this country the GROUNDWATER is regulated…. and you can’t dig a new well without a permit… and they tell you how much water you are allowed to pull from the aquifer. it’s getting worse by the day until they have us all living in 10×10 rooms piled on top of each other… it’s what they want.

    • bobk90

Another Reason for the EPA to put the Final KILL MOVE on a US Industry…

    • linecrosser

I guess being a coal mining region they had to come up with something beside fracking to contaminate the water making the region uninhabitable to life.

    • taptap

when will america wake up and realize that the safety of humans and community come second to industry in the USA, exp if that industry is part of the petrol/chemical industry and coal. wether its a rail car exploding in the dakotas, a refinery storage tank exploding in texas or a ruptured pipeline. you americans and your communities will ALWAYS be second. these industries are protected by the republicans and tea party who are owned and operated by the largest coal owners in the country, the koch brothers. they dont care about you. even if you drive around with your proud ‘dont tread on me” sticker. you are being used for their agenda period. they feed and stoke your fear, and convince you to vote for their prearranged candidate. not a damn thing will come of this west virginia chemical spill, within a week america will have forgotten about it. the industry that caused the spill will be fined $25,000 and will be back to business by the end of next week
they dont care about you, they dont care if your wife son or daughter dies from a chemical exposure, you are expendable in thier scheme amass the most wealth selling their coal or oil.
there is a safe way of using these resources but these industries refuse to, the $25,000 fine is cheaper then the fixing the problems that exist within the industry.
as long as you people contiunue to vote for republicans and tea party you will get what you bought, dirty contaminated environment where you the citizen come second next to the machine.

This is definitely a true story. The chemicals were released into the Elk River. This river is a major river in WV and is an abundant resource for fish. I mean clean fish. The water flows from the north and runs under limestone rocks in the ground this naturally cleans the water.. Now it has been contaminated. 9 counties are affected right now more surely will follow. This will be a major contamination for all those down the waterway.

    • liberty

They’re killing two birds with one stone. First of all, they’re setting up an emergency in order to establish martial law. What’s the best way to do that? Cut off the food/water supply. It also has the side effect of damaging the coal industry, something this administration swore to do from the outset. It’s time to wake up, people!

    • choose2know

As a resident of the affected area I can confirm that we are being told very little about this chemical or the spill. The local press is only disclosing that very little is known about this compound being referred to as “methanol”. What we are not being told is what components this may contain. It seems to me that surely the EPA knows if substances such as arsenic, mercury, lead, selenium, or other contaminants have been detected. I suspect we will never know and that while the immediate toxicity seems to very limited any long range consequences will also never be explored. I have been told by other residents that they first became aware of a strong odor both in the air and the water on Wed., Jan. 8, but it was Thursday evening before any warning was widespread. Although a supposed emergency notice went out I was notified by a family member who happened to be watching tv and saw it scrolling the bottom of the screen. This was after 5pm and I like most people had already showered, drank the water all day, as well giving it to our babies, pets and other animals. The Elk River, where the leak ocurred, flows into the Kanawha, which flows into the Ohio. We are being told that while officials have very little information on the dangers that we can be assured that dilution will make everything just peachy. We have the precedent here of Monsanto poisoning our homes and water with dioxin and the coal industry has been guilty for years of destroying our environment. Make no mistake about it. West, by God, Virginia is a colony and like most colonies, horrendously exploited with no consequences.

I live in Charleston WV, water was hard to find first two days. FEMA has brought in truck loads of water and the local stores have been restocked. There is a limit at some stores on the amount of water we can purchase. I have heard of a couple of fights nothing serious.. West Virginians pull together and help each other in times of crises. Hopefully soon things will get back to normal.

Nobody knows about these things for sure, if they are an accident or on purpose that is. What I do know is that despite how hard it will be, and a lot of people will die, we need a global reset of civilization. We do not deserve this planet. We prove that everyday.

      Two vital questions naturally arise:

      1) Is it known whether the chemical (or unhealthy portion thereof) is removed from or rendered physiologically inert by any of the basic water filters/purifiers (activated charcoal, distillation, UV, ozone, reverse osmosis, natural mineral, community water treatment, and so on)? Simple charcoal filtration by the way, removes an absolutely incredible number of toxins from water.

      2) Is it known whether as a volatile chemical it is rendered inert or removed simply by TBD exposure to air (oxygenation) and sunlight (UV)?

IF IT IS, then this apparently NOT-lethal situation is hardly the dastardly emergency it is being hyped to be by the media and FEMA, and it is clearly NOT an FEDERAL emergency and local resources will handle the needs of the region affected now and in the foreseeable future. (presumably National Guard remains under the Governor control…unless FEMA has somehow abbrogated that legal authority?)

Volatile organic chemicals often are routinely and safely removed from water supplies. In cases where any community systems don’t remove all the compounds, simple post-community-treatment systems (e.g. a tap filter) often suffice to remove any trace contaminants.

Per the article, “This chemical will make a person sick but it is not deadly unless ingested in huge quantity.” Also, it seems to be a volatile organic compound.

Even if it doesn’t respond to on-site remediation, this figure does not rise to the level requiring FEDERAL involvement. This is a regional or state situation at best, even if it involves several states due to geography or hydrology. The States and volunteerism are not so helpless as being unable to address such a situation on their own.

    • Adaluncatif

I had noticed that Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia are in FEMA Region III. I figured that they could stage something in NYC or Washington, D.C., but what could they do in these other areas? Now I know. I think this is a practice run for a much bigger operation. They want to know how well they can pull this off and what things they need to change.

      Toilets still flush….Good thing.

      • ExLibris

Until they shut down the municipal water system because “the people” are considered too stupid to be responsible in how they use the water.

(or the lawyers threaten the cities with lawsuits for “creating a health hazard” by providing tainted water to the public…but that’s ok, because when the cities then shut off the water, then those same lawyers can sue the cities for NOT providing that same water to the public and thus “creating a health hazard” because people can’t flush their toilets. See how that works?)

When i lived in colorado we had a cistern. We would have too go to town to get 1000 gallons of water at a time. This would be a great idea for those people in the affected areas. Just north of the spill, and get 1000 gallons at a time, bring back down too affected areas, it would really help a lot of people instead of only afew. BTW we used too only pay about 1.75 cents for 1k gallons of water

    • trashman

I dont know what country you are from but its obvious too me YOU DONT KNOW THIS GOVERNMENT!! No1. Any place that has hazardous chemicals is annually inspected for faulty valves, rusty pipes, rusted storage facilities, faulty foundations, in this case with huge storage areas for the chemicals, proper storage of smaller containers, and annual inspections of the storage housing, is standard 101! According too what i have been hearing about this incident, the chemical was breached after through 2 of the huge storage containers, then found its way too the ground where it seeped through!! The EPA has the responsibility too inspect these facilities at least once a month! I could see maybe 1 container having a small leak through a small hole by some rusted out hole in the container, but NOT 2 FREAKING CONTAINERS!!! then it got overlooked by plant employees and THEN LEAKED INTO THE GROUND! JUST A SMART GUY YOU ARE NOT TOO FREAKING SMART SOUNDS TOO ME LIKE YOU ARE A IDIOT~this sounds too me like it WAS DELIBERATE! Get large quantities of water people their please bring down to those needy

      • wolvesrunfre

Every incident is not always a government conspiracy. I don’t trust them any more than you do trashman, but I believe that too many people allow themselves to get to wrapped up in these things before the,re are enough facts to really come to a positive conclusion. All this does is get everyone worked up. Lets all clam down and not start a war.

This commment is very important people soo please listen. F.E.M.A which of course is the Federal Emergency Management Agency, is NOT for the good of the people, their [primary function is too provide services for the CONTINUITY OF GOVERNMENT, not too provide you with necessesary emergency supplies. If you dont believe me please google what is FEMAS primary function. That is why the supplies too weather torn Katrina was so slow getting too New Orleans during that horrible hurricane. PLEASE DONT TRUST IN THEM TOO TAKE CARE OF YOU! If you do then you will suffer. Go north of the spill and get supplies for many people if possible. gl and GB. I would offer you our water here in kansas but its not much better, sorry to say.

    • trashman

For those poor souls in West Virginia my heart goes out too you. I have made a few comments already but i have another that is a good idea. Anyone that has a 500 gallon container or 1000 etc, should talk to their neighbors and have everyone in thier community too chip in and have you run up north and buy water from the cities who have facilities to buy water in bulk for tank haulers, not sure the technical term, but anyway buy in bulk. The stores up north and all around the affected area will be sold out of water with neighbors travelling elsewhere for water from stores. BUY 1000 gallons at a time and drive back to your neighborhoods and distrubute to people off the back of your truck. have them bring their 5 gallon buckets etc. Please hurry and do this because as soon as the riots start, then Martial law will be imposed, and then they will lock your town down, then YOU ARE AT THEIR MERCY! Time is of the essence hurry, signed concerned fellow American

I can’t believe that these people still drink directly out of the river. Don’t they know about waterborne pathogens? That would be the only way a chemical spill in the river would affect all of these people to the point that they shut down their schools and restaurants. Where are all the pictures of dead wildlife? Something smells funny, and not HA HA funny either.

      • Neanderthal

        sniff sniff , what wildlife?

        • Doc

The wildlife that SHOULD be dead from the toxic chemicals in the water. Just doesn’t make since.

Because of the way the water runs through the mountains and many, many layers of stone….its is naturally filtered.

      pathetic

    • WV Bon Bon Queen

I too live in northern WV. I have heard of this chemical spill and really feel for those who it is affecting.
I have a few comments to make about this spill.

      1. If our government would fine these companies at least what they make in one year profits, then maybe just maybe they would work harder to keep this from happening ever again.

      2. If this chemical isn’t toxic, then why in the world are these folks not allowed to even wash their clothes in the water? I don’t know how toxic it is, but it sure isn’t good if they can’t even do laundry in the water for however long it takes to find out how toxic it is.

      3. If the company isn’t aware of how toxic this chemical is, then why are they allowed to even have it at their plant?

Praying these people don’t have more and more problems with health and physically living. :!:

      • ExLibris

If the chemical is used by a company in the US, then it has an MSDS label (Material Safety Data Sheet) and covers known toxicity and medical responses required upon contact/ingestion.

It would be required to be MSDS labeled at the site of use, so the company has to have SOME idea of what they’ve been dealing with.

        Search on [ msds 4-Methylcyclohexane Methanol ]

You’ll find the MSDS provides info on the chemical when NOT dissolved in methanol. Putting it in an alcohol-based solution (methanol) may increase its absorption in animal tissue. It does increase its solubility in water.

See the MSDS database entry of MSDS entry on the sciencelab website.

When I worked in the electronics industry, we were required to annually review our inventory and ensure we had MSDS labels and appropriate equipment and training in place to handle accidental spills/discharges of ANY of the chemicals in our inventory. I don’t think those government requirements will have been lessened (we even had to address a DISTILLED WATER discharge from our cooling system as a chemical pollutant).

    • SMaynard

I know this is a horrible situation with long-term, unknown results, but I live in the area, and people are behaving well, sharing water, and although I’m sure there are exceptions, I have not seen any bad behavior. We just had our 11th visitor of the day over to use our shower, and have fed multiple people. The MSM always focuses on the worst case scenario, but from where I am, Mountaineers always pull together and take care of each other.

Kerry needs to stay the hell out of Israel. We’re being put under judgment for it. God says specifically in Obadiah 1:15 For the day of the Lord is near upon all the heathen: as thou hast done, it shall be done unto thee: thy reward shall return upon thine own head.
      Then the vortex winter:
Job 37:6 For he saith to the snow, Be thou on the earth; likewise to the small rain, and to the great rain of his strength. 7 He sealeth up the hand of every man; that all men may know his work. 8 Then the beasts go into dens, and remain in their places. 9 Out of the south cometh the whirlwind: and cold out of the north. 10 By the breath of God frost is given: and the breadth of the waters is straitened. 11 Also by watering he wearieth the thick cloud: he scattereth his bright cloud: 12 And it is turned round about by his counsels: that they may do whatsoever he commandeth them upon the face of the world in the earth. 13 He causeth it to come, whether for correction, or for his land, or for mercy.

He is vomiting people right out of their lands just like the US and the terrorists and everyone else is trying to move the Jews from their Covenant land.
Call me crazy if you must. This is my story and I’m sticking to it.

I come to this site often but reading this reminds me of why I take what I read here with a grain of salt. I and my family are personally affected by this and would like to say that while the facts about the spill, the chemical, FEMA and the national guard being involved reported here are true. The massive fighting, slow distribution of water and all out chaos you make it sound like are all false. There have been very few reports of actual fighting over water, the store shelves were only bare of water for a short time and actually everyone, including local businesses and churches are coming together and helping us who are affected. A lot of unaffected businesses are offering water by letting people fill empty containers, while others are actually passing out free water. Some unaffected churches are offering showers, to let people cook, free water and letting people fill empty containers. Seeing the community come together the way it has, has been truly inspiring and it makes me proud to be part of it. For the most part we have each others backs here and I take exception to the way you have made it sound.

    • JR_3%

Things are not as bad as this article is maikng them out to be. Yes many stores are out of bottled water in the areas surrounding the affected counties. However water stations are open everywhere running off of volunteer work. A few companies have sent in over 500000 cans and bottles of water. Hotels are offering free showers. The National guard has stepped in for nursing homes. Very little, if any fema assistance has been needed. Is the possibility of a false flag here? Yes, but this is not a reason to sound the alarms yet. The situation is under control. There is no fighting and fema is not running rampant.

      Think:
Do you know how to make your own activated Charcoal?
I gave the recipe here some time back. I will go through it quickly, this time write it down read up on it, get yourself a Good Survival book.

You can Use these types of wood in this order 1st willow, cotton wood, pine. Although in a pinch most any wood will work…….NOTE: do not use any form of treated wood, it is poison.

NOTE: Get a new gallon size or larger metal paint can Home depot sells them new……use clean can/container.
The container needs to have a tightly sealed lid.
Bore 3/8″- 1″ inch hole in the center of the lid.

Using a hand hatchet and hammer, split your logs into 1/2″-1″ strips placing these into your clean container until the container is full. Cover with the lid tightly sealed.

NOTE:Have your fire ready while you are doing this.

Build your fire in a larger container, even a bbq pit will work.
Place your container of wood onto the fire, you will soon see gases escaping from the hole bored into the lid, Light the gases they will burn When the gases quit burning allow to remain on the fire approx another 20 min- this varies!!!.

Place a bolt in the hole sealing the hole you bored into the lid remove from the fire……Allow to cool completely.
Note: do not open the lid till completely cooled or you stand a chance of your charcoal catching fire, thus ruining it.

Now you have charcoal to use to filter your water, and other uses, even medical.

NOTE:Crush to desired size. Be sure to store it in a clean airtight container, inside ziplocks
Very important to store it in airtight containers.

    • Bronson

Why did people not at least have 5 gallons of water put back.

This is the sad truth. It is going to be nothing but pure chaos when SHTF.
The store shelves will be stripped in a matter of hours, not days.
      The looters will be wild………..
      You better prepare…….
Do not be a burden on yourself, and expect others to take you in…..
This is good advice…….listen, get a survival book, learn some skills, and know how to prepare for the looters.
There will be mass chaos at the stores, people will be attacking each other, and stealing from you before you can make it back to your vehicle.

So if you want continue to drive your gas sucking vehicles to the store spending 20 bucks on gas to get a loaf of bread that is on sale for 50 cents……

Continue to follow the person ahead of you into a long lines, when there are empty check outs.
Continue to purchase junk items that do not have any use. Do this if you want to be attacked during a disaster in all the chaos.

Purchase items that have each have several uses..think outside the box…..quit falling for the ads/subliminal messages….wake Up.
Quit living the sheltered life, learn get your hands dirty……..get some hard books……quit depending on the electrical devices.

        @^

Why didn’t they have five gallons saved up? Because they don’t care. In this area, they literally do not care about the NWO, the collapse, or anything else. I have been fighting for years to awaken people here, and initailly it was “Fema Camps? My government wouldn’t do that”, “economic collapse? NAAAAAAH, I work in the mines”, and then a couple of years ago, when the tyranny got so huge that it was undeniable, it became “well, I can’t change it, so why bother thinkin’ ’bout it?”, and as far as my recommendations about storing extra water and food, it literally elicits either a blank stare or “when it’s mah time to die, I can’t change it”, while educating the locals on the truth about GMO food and vaccines will get you the occasional(and infuriating) “everybody’s got to die sometime, and you will, too…you can’t live forever and neither can I”.

Charleston WV is lost. It is a Rockefeller playground.

-MSM to put the blame on coal plants and global warming

    • YellowRoseTx51

Boy there are just catch phrases all over this news blurb. The first noticeable is the river’s name. “ELK” if you don’t know “Long Elk” is a high level operative’s name, used in terrorist crimes. The second is the news cast…that looked exactly like the videos right on the Corp. page that does the crisis actor hiring. The next noticeable thing, is the location. They have been setting up FEMA region three for the last few months, and most notably the ptb congress took a full fledged leap off the cliff in panic awhile back and allegedly all went to a funeral together. Something that is unheard of.

I’d have to say this is another false flag, and its purpose is to destabilize the population there. Get them to fight each other over food and water resources.

    • Nephilim Hunter Megatron

      Good grief…

I already commented on this, but just to repeat: there is absolutely NO civil unrest out here near or in Charleston. This place is already a New World Order grotto. It is exactly what people like the Rockefellers always wanted to create. Probably 70 percent of the people out here have morphed into the sub species that the elites dreamed of when they foresaw themselves evolving into a higher life form with the remainder of the populace being engineered into a pig like peasant creature(didn’t they have Bertrand Russell draw it out for them?) with no ability to think for itself.

As to the story I saw somewhere online about cops guarding water at Walmart, yeah, it happened, but there are ALWAYS cops at that particular store, catching meth heads and prostitutes stealing and protecting cashiers from the violent outbursts of Welfare addicts who literally storm the store on the weekends.

And I have to admit, I laughed when I saw that ridiculous heading earlier that said, “West Virginia: No Water, No Peace”, or something like that, as if the populace around here would ever organize and try to demand anything together. Utterly laughable. These folks go to the government for everything already, to the extent that the stores around here actually advertise and cater to WIC/SNAP/WELFARE shoppers. And as to any confrontation with authorities, the only time you are ever guaranteed to see any politeness or total respect for another person from anyone around here is when they see that person wearing a badge.

Then they nearly BOW on their way past and the women act like Carthaginian soldier fluffs.

    • Jewillson

I live in Charleston, WV and we are not fighting over water. There is plenty of bottled water at Walmart, grocery stores and other places in the area. Although this is an inconvenience to our people, we are helping one another and everyone seems to be ok. If anything, this event has been a reminder that we all need to prepare by stockpiling water, food and other supplies in the event of a nationwide crisis.

is this the region 3 event we were warned about? I thought it would be something bigger to warrant martial law, camps, and a FedGov distro of “life saving food and water” to the masses.

FEMA is delivering water but martial law has not been declared.

When FEMA steps in the costs associated with providing water pass on to the Federal Government budget.

What happens to the people downstream? All it takes is one Nuclear power plant or one chemical spill. Do you see how easy it is? I live in Charleston WV which is in FEMA region 3 and I would like to claify some things. First and foremost there was no massive fighting over the water as you reported. There was one incidence of looting and that was at a foodland store right after they issued the do not use. secondly there was 2 very minor spats that the cops called which caused one store to limit the cases ofbottled water as people were hoarding them. For example my husband works for one of the major grocery stores here in wv and people where buying 10 cases of water at a time. I went the day after the do not use where His store has 12 pallets of deer park water and I got 4 cases. In WV we help each other out the community pulls together with the exception of the corperations here in WV which are as crooked as the state and federal governments. As of today all the service has been restored with the exception of 3 places that they had to retest the water and now Freedom Industries the company that caused this whole mess filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy and I can almost bet due to all the class action lawsuits. There have been 19 so far and Erin Brockovich came to Charleston and had a town hall meeting. And wed after most zones were lifted the cdc told our state health and human services not to consume the water. Im not drinking or cooking with it myself and don’t plan to.

    • Nilsetr

It is insane that some still have not read in between the lines on this Wv. Chemical spill. Feb. 2013 Fema orders 30 million+ dollars worth of ready to eat meals, Antibiotics and drinking water all to be delivered to FEMA region III no later then Oct. 1 2013. EPA declares war on coal Wv. #1 resource. a company called “Freedom Industries” spills a “Coal cleaning ingredient” into the Elk River. people are told the water is safe up until 7 hours after the spill, when FEMA took control. then suddenly the water is only safe to flush your toilets with, nothing else.. So if you read between the lines you will stop blaming Freedom Industries and start asking FEMA what they did after the 7 hours to make the water like it is today. If you do not know who is in FEMA Region III it is Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia and D.C.
