THE thing is, “what if?”
Maybe this is drama about a drill that will be a complete non-incident as far as interrupting the banking system and everyone will have full access to their accounts.
No Big Deal.
BUt the what if this drill does actually mess something up? Do you want your kids to go without milk or the family without food? So, have some cash on hand and not be overly dependent upon that plastic card. There’s no telling if this drill will mess up the banking systems at the neighborhood super market where we swipe out debit cards.
Even if it’s temporary, it’s an inconvenience and we are a convenice-oriented society. Right?
