Scottish Referendum – Is It A Stitch Up ?

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

By King Alfred

“The saddest thing about any man is that he be ignorant, and the most exciting thing is that he knows.”
― Alfred the Great

It is clear that the EU desires the breakup and economic destruction of Great Britain folding the regional remains into a Federal Europe.  They are busy making such plans even before the votes are counted. Reading on you will find that even if a majority vote no the man who would be King of Scotland Salmond may still expand his realm.

All under the banner of “federalism” if you vote (No) or “confederalism” if you vote (Yes) see page 10 Table 0.1: Summary of the expected effects of the 2014 referendum.

According to the report there are two kinds of “No”.

Under narrow ‘No’,
termed aspirational devolution (40-50% ‘Yes’, 50-60% ‘No’)
Extensive devolution of revenue sources not legally or pragmatically restricted to the central tier
North Sea oil revenue either reserved or geographically allocated
Corporation tax either assigned or devolved
That appears to be an absolute swindle. Dictated change whether the people of the UK give their consent or not.

One such person making plans for a Federal Europe is Andrew Hughes Hallett who is EURAC Federal Scholar 2014 and has worked as a consultant for the World Bank an institution riddled with fraud and iniquity.

The International Jury of the Second Edition of the EURAC Federal Scholar has awarded this year’s prize to
Prof. Hughes Hallett, University Professor for Economics and Public Policy at George Mason University (USA) and Professor of Economics at the University of St Andrews (Scotland).

His manuscript “The Practicalities of Economic Federalism: A Critical review of How to Apply the Lessons of Fiscal Autonomy in Practice” has been ranked first among all received applications. The principal theme of his paper is to elaborate a model of fiscal federalism where comprehensive powers over taxation and spending are devolved, but remain consistent within a union-wide macro-economic framework and constitutional integrity. He concentrates on the case of the UK and more specifically on Scotland. The paper also makes reference to several other case studies.

Prof. Hughes Hallett has taught in over 15 Universities in Europe and in the U.S. He is ranked in the top 1% of economists world-wide (295 out of 34.280) by publications, citations and readership. Beyond the academic world, Prof. Hughes Hallett is consultant to the Fiscal Affairs division of the European Central Bank on debt management and lead economist in the working group set up to design the policy framework for autonomy/independence for Scotland after the referendum in 2014. He has acted as consultant to the World Bank and the IMF as well as for the Federal Reserve in Washington, the Peterson Institute for International Economics and to the UN, UNESCO, OECD and to various governments and central banks in Europe.
He will be making a research stay at EURAC in January-February 2014, and will present his research findings at the Winter School on Federalism and Governance in a public lecture scheduled on 10th February 2014 in Bolzano/Bozen. http://www.eurac.edu/en/research/institutes/sfere/federalscholar2014.html

An all party parliamentary Taxation Group led by Marius Ostrowski an Oxford scholar produced a report entitled “Achieving Autonomy.” The title itself  implies bias in favour of the EU driven break up of the UK into regional components.

Oxford dictionary Definition of achieve in English:

successfully bring about or reach (a desired objective or result) by effort, skill, or courage:

example:

O’Neill has told his players that pretty football must be secondary to achieving the right result.

Incredibly even if a majority of the Scottish electorate, the only people who get to vote on the treasonous break up of the UK vote no. Its seems that our EU  doormat government still plan many related changes. So even a No means Yes how very Soviet.
Leonid Ilyich Brezhnev
“The trouble with free elections is, you never know who is going to win.”
From the report page 9   .. when no means yes.

About Marius Ostrowski Author of ‘Scotland’s Choice’

Marius Ostrowski leads the APPTG’s research project on Scotland’s fiscal future, culminating in ‘Scotland’s Choice’, the first in a series of reports for the APPTG.

He is a Lecturer in Politics at Magdalen College, University of Oxford, and a doctoral student, researching federalism, civil society, and community identification. He holds First -Class BA Honours in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (2007 / 10), and an MPhil in Political Theory (2010/12), both from the University of Oxford. He has worked with several think tanks, including Demos, Reform, and the Institute of Economic Affairs, on a broad range of public policy initiatives, and has blogged and written regularly on localism and devolution in the United Kingdom and abroad.

Little mention of any real life or business experience though, just theory and dogma at Uni ?

Marius Ostrowski has a bio published on the website of Respublica a Common Purpose linked poisonous think tank.

Ostrowski is a doctoral student in politics at the University of Oxford, with a thesis on federalism and community identification. He holds a BA in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics, and an MPhil in Political Theory, both also from Oxford. His MPhil research focused on political legitimacy and authority, and forms of political support.

His wider work covers an eclectic range of interests, including European party systems, political realism, metaphysics, and the philosophy of Friedrich Nietzsche, and he has recently become drawn to mutualist models of political and economic governance.

Perhaps Ostrowski sees himself and his peers as “exceptional”.

Nietzsche sees the slave-morality as a source of the nihilism that has overtaken Europe. Modern Europe and Christianity exist in a hypocritical state due to a tension between master and slave morality, both values contradictorily determining, to varying degrees, the values of most Europeans (who are motley). Nietzsche calls for exceptional people to no longer be ashamed of their uniqueness in the face of a supposed morality-for-all, which he deems to be harmful to the flourishing of exceptional people. He cautions, however, that morality, per se, is not bad; it is good for the masses, and should be left to them. Exceptional people, on the other hand, should follow their own “inner law.” A favorite motto of Nietzsche, taken from Pindar, reads: “Become what you are.” wikipedia

Nietzsche is obviously wrong when it comes to Britain for we are not as the proponents of EU integration fantasize slaves.

“An Englishman is born a free man save under the due restraint of the necessary law” is a phrase that resonates the world over. The rule of law enshrines accountability in the administration with ultimate enforcement in the hands of the people, not those who govern.

Oxford University students on why we need feminism

Marius Ostrowski ” Haha awesome! Good to see such a spur-of-the-moment thing has had such fantastic coverage “

Note that the Frankfurt School inspired Philip Blond is said to be the inspiration behind Red Tory David Cameron’s Big Crooked EU Communitarian Society.  Note that Oliver Letwin the MP that loses so many important documents lends his approval too.

See how the public is manipulated towards accepting a pre packaged political solution, the intention all along.

Twisting Truth through Group Consensus

Thesis vs Antithesis  = Consensus

Right wing vs Left wing = Middle Ground

Fascist vs Communist = Communitarian

All of the above of course are top down patriarchal systems of dictatorial exploitation employing overseers  driven by dogma to serve the fruits of labour and the Earth to the top one percent of the food chain.  Now fancy that.

About ResPublica

The ResPublica Trust (which operates under the trading name ResPublica) is an independent, non-partisan think tank. We focus on developing practical solutions to enduring socio-economic and cultural problems in the UK.

Our ideas are founded on the principles of a post-liberal vision of the future which moves beyond the traditional political dichotomies of left and right, and which prioritise the need to recover the language and practice of the common good.

Phillip Blond has been at the cutting edge of progressive thinking about public services and the future of our society. ResPublica will now enable that thinking – and the practical policy suggestions which flow from it – to be carried forward. It is an exciting initiative which has arrived at a vital time.” - The Rt. Hon. David Cameron MP, Prime Minister

“One of the most exciting thinkers around.” -The Rt. Hon. Oliver Letwin MP, Minister of State, Cabinet Office

“ResPublica is an important and timely addition to the policy landscape in the UK, leading a strand of debate around mutualism, reciprocity and community that transcends traditional divisions between left and right.” - John Cruddas, MP for Dagenham and Rainham

“It is a sign of the bankruptcy of the liberal left that it falls to Phillip Blond to make the principled but liberal case about what kind of capitalism we want.” - Will Hutton, author, ‘The Stakeholding Society.’

Marius Ostrowski according to his respublica bio “has recently become drawn to mutualist models of political and economic governance.”
Has he been taken in by the false philosophy of Marxist inspired change agent Philip Blond ?
In “Achieving Autonomy” has he been co-opted into serving the treasonous EU / Common Purpose corporate agenda ?
Little does he realise that the sort of middle ground socialism likely to be achieved is National Socialism.  Perhaps this explains the jumpiness of the Tory party whenever Nazis who first proposed an EU circa 1942 are mentioned.
Respublica have republished an article by Blond entitled “Common Purpose”. It was first published in a magazine called Ethos ©2014 Serco

Mutualism represents perhaps the most flexible and beneficial way of transforming our public services. Happily, the government is committed to this model: Francis Maude, Minister for the Cabinet Office, has stated that he would like to see a million public sector workers employed in mutuals by 2015. In simple terms, mutualism is based on principles of reciprocity, equity and fairness. It is a system that allows for equity (what you put in and therefore can take out), be that in terms of finance or services, to be realised in any number of ways.

To achieve the positive transformation of our public services, we need to find new models of mutualism fit for the 21st century. This means creating innovative ways of bringing together public and private capital, enabling private companies to make a fair return from their capital investments, while at the same time giving all those involved a stake or return of some sort.

With the greatest respect Marius Ostrowski  one wonders whether a chap straight out of college a fresh faced youth has the experience or political wherewithal  in such grave constitutional matters as breaking up the union. I would politely suggest that he is out of his depth.
His lack of experience is all too clear in this dogmatic explanation of why the London riots occurred.  Not once does he explore the possibility that the riots were arranged, as were the misreported and overhyped Bristol Tesco riots ( note there never was a fire as reported by all of the MSM whores ).   by the powers that be in order to forward a political agenda. One such political agenda might be  allowing foreigners such as Cameron’s favourite Bill Bratton to become chief constables.   Of course that legislation was recently rubber stamped by our alleged representatives.

Understanding the England riots

Posted on December 14, 2011 by Marius Ostrowski

The findings that have recently started to emerge from enquiries into the riots that tore through cities across England in early August 2011 paint a picture of systematic disadvantage, ingrained tensions, and radical disjunction between societal groups. Though it has proved impossible to pin down any single unifying cause of this undercurrent of societal disquiet, there is a strong implication that, in the absence of concrete policy proposals to mitigate the riots’ causes and effects, similar events are likely to take place again, possibly even in the near future.
