As a “current Officer” I can assure you we won’t. If anything, we’ll turn and shoot our “Handlers!” That’s what I’m doing. Any US troops who shoot American citizens are probably foreign troops dressed like US soldiers. In which case, GIVE NO QUARTER!

We have an all volunteer Military. These men and women have families across the country. They are not going to open fire on their friends and family. And in the Event Some Units are that stupid, they are basically marked for death.
Look at Iraq and the toll the enemy took on our forces. The American have more fire power than any of the insurgents ever did or ever will. If it does come to civil war, which is what we’re talking about. I like out odds.
They cannot do that. We are part of the Militia. YOU CANNOT disarm the militia. That is treason. Whoever is saying this is committing treason or wants Civil war on purpose.

All the comments on here are hilarious. In 1992, I was with the Marines that went into Watts, California. We were locked on live ammo. We had TOW missles and medium weapons (M2 .50 caliber machine guns and MK19′s). We went in there, and at the time, just WAITED for orders to come to ‘quell this insurrection, fire at will’.
You obviously aren’t paying attention to that 4-billion rounds of ammo that FEMA has, or the 100,000 black-suited ‘internal army’ they have built to act as an in-country military force, either. You have a force 3/4 the size of the Marines, most trained by the FBI or Marines, in this country right now, ready to engage hostiles, as they appear. All they need is an order, and it DOESN’T come from the military at all – it will come from the Secretary of State or President, possibly the Secretary of Defense, but I doubt it.
Want to talk tough, act like Rambo (you know who you are)? Yeah, we saw your kind in South Louisiana in 2005. You were the ‘patriots’ giving up your guns when the sheriff and his ‘boys’ in the flat bottom boats came to your door and demanded your weapons. A few ‘urban thugs’ fired on the police (some WERE actually police that flipped sides), but in general, less than 3-percent of the population engaged the police – AND THAT WAS THEN! You want your homes, your welfare, your cars – YOU WON’T GO ANYWHERE AND UNITE to form a viable battle front. You will sit in your homes with a few guns, trying to ‘hold what is yours’, and in the end, 20 FEMA goons are going to treat you like a noob in a state prison – complete with shanks.
Face it, you can’t stop thinking of ‘you’ to think of ‘nation’, and you can’t quit being ‘rambo’ to be ‘George Washington’. You can’t fight them alone, you can’t even stop paying them taxes to finance the war machine built against you. You can’t tell them no, you can’t even hold a job unless they let you. You are pathetic, weak, pitiful. You are the bones that the machine will walk over, and never even care what your name was.

I too am a former Marine, and one thing is quite obvious, you know not of what you write. I spent from 1972-2004 serving this Nation and its security concerns. You ought to know better to try and make an argument of such writings, you are just flat ass wrong.
You are entitled to your opinion, but, not your own version of facts. This Nation, last time I checked the gubermint sites for confirmation, there were between 30-33 million deer hunting permits alone issued in the year of 2011. Yeah and you would have us believe that somehow out of the 2.4 million, already stretched thin as it is, troops in 148 Nations at this time, combined in all branches active, even of they were able to get them home in time, has even a chance against the deer hunters, let alone all of us Retired, Reserve, and LEO’s out here who swore our oaths to the Constitution, are no match for the gubbermint and their salves and idiots for even contemplating a revolt against these numbers, they are dead, dead, dead as in graveyard dead, if they even tried.
Never underestimate the Patriot, never ever doubt the consequences of what WILL happen to those who follow illegal orders, even if the gubbermint was to convince a very large portion of the population that somehow a person who protects his neighbors from the gubbermint forces acting against them, is someone to be considered to be a “terrorist” either. The very definition of a Patriot is a person who protects others from the abuse, legal or otherwise of their gubbermint. Former Marine you say, really what rank, last duty station, how many years, and as your own admission, you most likely even if confirmed a “former Marine” were a grunt, incapable of much other then to listen and obey orders. You don’t even have to say you’re hearing voices. They’ll kidnap you from the emergency room while you’re having a heart attack and take you there, gang rape and sodomize you, get keys to your home, and steal from you, well there is no law here in Virginia. Only murderers. The doctors, CSB’s, judges, and lawyers are getting big money to participate in this criminal rico. Virginia receives the largest amount of Federal funding of any state in the nation. Ethically it is rated 47th – it should be dead last in ethics at 50.
