Victory! No Charges Against Man Who Shot And Killed Cop During No Knock Raid!!

(N.Morgan) Another reason why I’m falling in love with Texas! A jury decided not to pursue capitol murder charges against 28-year-old Henry Goedrich Magee, who claims he was protecting his home and family from what he thought were would be robbers, instead turned out to be police for a no knock raid. This is a feather in our hats, ladies and gentleman, on being able to defend ourselves against these psychos!

In an astonishing ruling, a Texas grand jury declined to press capital murder charges against a man who shot and killed a law enforcement officer executing a no-knock raid on his home. A Burleson County SWAT team raided the man’s home near Snook on December 19th of last year. 28-year-old Henry Goedrich Magee said he shot and killed Burleson County Sgt. Adam Sowders, 31, because he thought he was being robbed and acted to protect his pregnant girlfriend and children.

While the jury declined to indict Magee for capital murder charges, they did indict him for possession of marijuana while in possession of a deadly weapon, a third-degree felony which the state’s district attorney, Julie Renken, said she intends to “fully prosecute.” Nonetheless, for the capital murder charge Magee had bail set at $1 million and was facing life in prison without parole and possible death by lethal injection, instead he’ll likely be released on bond and soon reunited with his family.

      one really should knock.

    • TombRaider

It’s sad when any life is needlessly taken and this is a perfect example of how not to enter a home. Daily we see teams of combat ready troops crashing and trashing someones home and its occupants using 10X the force needed resulting in an escalation of force usually resulting in someone harmed or dead..

I can think of at least a half dozen ways to secure a home without endangering anyone and ensuring the occupants don’t slip by.

A mans home is his castle and before anyone enters his castle they need to knock….

Exactly Tomb . Expect to see MUCH MORE of this as the days go by. You can only push a People so far until they push back HARD. I would not hesitate to drop any person who attempts to enter my Property un announced. In a Civilized Society one must respect a persons Property and Family. We will organize and be their Huckleberry. This has not been our desire to be placed to defend ourselves. It has became necessary to preserve our way of life. Americans have always believed in live and let live. But when you try to take that away from us . We will be the most fearsome Enemy you have ever known. No brag . Just fact.

I’ll really believe in a victory when they start charging these paramilitary Nazis we call cops with murder. They’re killing people all over the US, and openly mocking people in custody knowing they can do whatever they want.

I have to say to all of you, this gives us our right back to defend ourselves, even against THEM!

I’m sorry someone had to die, but as stated by A Patriot, they should have knocked and announced themselves.

We just won back a piece of our second amendment, with this ruling!

I’m from Texas and this is a proud moment for me but I will add that we have a lot of housecleaning to do!

    • Intelharvest

Good!! I’m glad he got off. There’s a little thing called law, and LEO’s have to follow it too. Not to mention that bad policies, like no knock raids, need to be scrapped.

      • Nicole Morgan (Investigative Reporter)

        I agree, Intelharvest.

They are not as above the law now as they thought.

    • DOOMSDAY!

DAMN HAPPY FOR THIS! STRIKE ONE FOR GOOD!

    • Boxed in Freight

      It’s about time.

I Love my Texas. These bad cops need to learn the hard way that they just can’t storm into someone’s home whenever the urge strikes them and not expect repercussions.

    • anonymousthomaspaine

The arrogance and superiority complex just oozes off the cop in the photo above. I am sad that children and a family were left without a father (Cop), but the no knock home invasion of an American Citizen’s home makes him no better than a common criminal who kicks a citizen’s door in without warning. Because they are public servants does not grant them any special rights that would not be granted to anyone who invades our homes with unannounced intent. Make it mandatory that these unannounced no knock raids against the American people are unconstitutional and should cease immediately. If these raids continue it will only result in an America whose citizens are terrorized and victimized as they are in any war zone (Iraq & Afghanistan).

    • abnegative

JUSTICE FINALLY ! It is common sense , if you enter ones residence with force , unannounced , you become a legal target. We still have the right to defend ourselves in that county…………

    • abnegative

At some point the police themselves must understand violating the constitution , peoples rights and COMMON SENSE can get them killed , legally….he was just following orders? “calling it your job don’t make it right”

    • WCS

Thank God and I hope he beats the other charges as well. To the cops, dude just knock, tell us who yah are and give us a chance to open the door. if you don’t, well there is going to be a lot more of this and your vest cant stop the ammo that some of us have out hear. its just not worth it.
