Missing 777 Update: Plane Flew At Just 5000 Feet To Avoid Radar Detection

by  on March 17, 2014

Well, this report certainly raises the stakes of what could be going on with that missing 777, as it appears increasingly certain someone, be they the pilots or someone else, intended to take that plane and use it for something

(via DailyMail)

Boeing 777 hijackers plunged to 5,000ft and used low altitude ‘terrain masking’ manoeuvre practised by fighter jets to avoid radar detection

  • Boeing 777 may have ‘dropped to altitude as low as 5,000ft’
  • It had flown at 45,000ft, before possibly going down quickly
  • Aviation experts say passengers would have felt it plunging
  • Villagers in the north-east of Malaysia say they saw bright lights

Claims today that the missing Malaysian Airlines jet dropped to an altitude of 5,000ft to avoid radar lends credibility to reports by villagers that they saw bright lights and loud noises at about the time the aircraft is thought to have made a ‘U-turn’.

Investigators told a Malaysian newspaper that the Boeing 777 had dropped to a lower altitude to avoid ground radar, using the surrounding terrain as a sonar barrier.

Malaysian Flight 370 has been missing since March 8, 2014. Personally, I don’t feel the Malaysian government has been up front or truthful with the rest of the world from the start.

ts civilian and military leaders have struggled to provide answers from Day One of the crisis, when it took several hours to even declare the plane missing. Malaysian authorities said early on that the plane may have doubled back, but took days to say it was military radar that suggested that and days more to confirm it!

Military radar confirmed that flight ascended to 45,000 feet, far above it’s maximum. If the main cabin was depressurized, passengers would have suffocated within minutes. If the intent was to steal the aircraft, this would have been the best way to exterminate it’s passengers then have the bodies disposed of once it landed at a preplanned location.

“Loosing” a Boeing 777 should be a concern to everyone. The aircraft is very large and can carry an extensive payload halfway around the world without refueling. If you’re wondering if a 777 could carry a nuclear weapon I can assure you it’s more than capable!

      Maximum Payload – 112 tons
Fuel Capacity – 48,000 US gallons
Maximum Range Loaded – 9,395 nautical miles
Typical city pairs: New York to Singapore
With three optional fuel tanks – 53,515 US gallons
