I had missed the Sochi closing ceremonies last week, so I watched them on tape. Well, not quite tape, but that’s what people my age and older call it. We’ll return to that in a moment.
In the ceremonies, the Russian Olympic Committee representative called the games the greatest ever and said the world got to see “the new face of Russia.”
This week we learned the new face of Russia looks quite a bit like the old face of Russia — paranoid, belligerent and skillful in exploiting moments of American weakness.
Back to the tape.
There’s a whole generation now that doesn’t watch things on tape, and never did.
The millennials are ill-equipped to understand the character of this new U.S.-Russian confrontation. They don’t know much about the Cold War, except perhaps that Mikhail Gorbachev brought it to an end. They don’t know a thing about Ronald Reagan’s uncompromising crusade against the evil of Soviet totalitarianism, and if they do, they might find his moral clarity discomforting.
They don’t know much about a bishop from Krakow becoming the bishop of Rome and turning the Eastern Bloc inside out with a message of freedom of conscience and human dignity.

You Americans are ruled by the gang of 535 nut cases whom only look after their own interest. You Americans, if you don’t stand up against your government will be the destroyers of your own nation. How can you listen to Obama telling Russia not to invade Ukraine?
Obama (Americans) are quick to tell Russia to get out of Ukraine due to the fact it’s against signed international protocols. America is not in favor that Russia “invade” any country for any reason and Obama even said that the Ukraine need to sort out their own issues.
But then why can America invade any country they wish at any time they wish. What gives America the right to fund criminals to topple Syria? What give America the right to secretly fund the militants? What gives America the moral right to have invaded Afghanistan, Iraq and other areas? America is a SICK nation, infused by nothing more than greed backed by filthy minded satanic individuals whom have one agenda; and that agenda is not for the good of all humanity.
Personally, I am in favor of Russia standing up against criminals like Obama. I will fight with Russia and will stand against America when the time comes. If you’re an American, it’s your constitutional duty to stand up against your imposter government! And if you don’t i have no respect for you.
