Blog del Narco: Singer Interrupts US concert Schedule to Attend Cartel Leaders Funeral
Singer Melissa Plancarte, known as “La Barbie Grupera” reveals that she was present at the funeral of his father, the capo Enrique “Kike” Plancarte, one of the main leaders of the cartel “Knights Templar”.
In an interview with journalist Ciro Gomez Leyva of the Formula Group, Melissa Plancarte insists that she has had no contact with her father for six years. She said that after attending the funeral of her father “Kike” Plancarte, she returned to the U.S. She is scheduled to sing at concerts in New York, California, Dallas and Chicago.
“The death of my father hurts a lot, we knew it would happen eventually, but we were not prepared, “said the singer. The federal government reported that the March 30 “Kike” members of the Navy in Querétaro killed Plancarte.
According to the official version, the Cartel Leader was identified while walking in streets of the town of Columbus. Plancarte repeatedly has denounced the criminal activities of her father and has insisted she had no contact with him. There have been reports of the family visiting together over the years though
