Health Crisis-Please Pray for Vincent Albanese

I am honored to be a guest in the home of Vincent (“Vinnie) Albanese and his dear wife Sylvia here in Florida at this time. They have needed my help as a health care provider due to critical health problems Vinnie has experienced. They cannot afford home health care, and so I am providing my services free of charge completely. This is a Biblical thing to do, and I am happy to do this to minister to them. They have been wonderful hosts during this time.

Long before I began a career in investigative journalism, I was ministering to families through the field of home health care. I have chosen to put aside my journalism for a brief season, as I minister in both spiritual and practical ways to the needs of this precious family.

Vinnie requests your prayers today. Following breakfast this morning, he expressed to me his struggle with deep depression and also concern for his upcoming surgery. He was on the verge of breaking into tears. He is so discouraged, due to financial and health problems.

This led to a powerful time of prayer around the breakfast table, lifting up everything in prayer that Vinnie is struggling with, to an Almighty Father in Heaven Who CARES about His people. Jesus is honored in this household, and we stood together on the promises of the eternal and infallible Word of God.

As Vinnie looked at me with sadness today, I reminded him that God’s promises cannot be broken, and what He has promised in His eternal Word, He will fulfill. He disappoints no one who puts their trust in Him and His precious Son Jesus Christ. 

Vinnie, Sylvia and I stood upon every promise we could find in the Bible for His health and a miracle, for miracles of financial provision, and more.

Please, will you kindly add your urgently needed prayers to this situation? Vinnie earnestly desires now to see the mercy and the power of God working his life and their circumstances. I assured him, based on the eternal promises of God, that as we look in faith to Him Who is mighty to save, God’s promises will be fulfilled perfectly.

I also want my readers to know that the support I have received recently is now going to help this family through their financial and health crisis, enabling me to purchase necessary food and vitamins to help them through this difficult time. And this is exactly what true Christianity is all about.

Thank you for your prayers. My prayer is that Vinnie will witness the power and the glory and mercy of God in his present situation, helping him to put his faith and trust in Jesus Christ completely.
