Palin Pokes Fun at President Obama
TND Guest Contributor: Elizabeth Vale |
No one can ever accuse Sarah Palin of not having a sense of humor. The April 2 airing of The Tonight Show featured Palin in a skit with Jimmy Fallon making fun of President Obama’s handling of Russia and President Vladimir Putin, while at the same time allowing Palin to poke fun at herself.
The skit had Putin contacting Palin after talking to President Obama because he had heard that she had predicted back in 2008 that he would “invade Ukraine” and he wanted advice on what country he should invade next.
While the skit surprisingly skewered President Obama’s weak leadership in comparison to President Putin, the skit also allowed people to see a lighter side of Palin. She poked fun at everything from her kid’s names to her perceived proximity to Russia. However, in reality the whole skit was really just a fun “I told you so” from Palin to the Obama administration.
Watch and enjoy!
