SPLC : Fostering Hate in Bundy Ranch Article

The Southern Poverty Law Center recently wrote an article published in their “Hatewatch” blog entitled “Antigovernment ‘Patriots’ Gather Near Scene of Nevada Rancher’s Dispute Over Cattle Grazing Rights“.  The article is characteristic of this organization which makes a living by agitating situations with disinformation – attempting to foster hate for profit.

 

In the article, the SPLC attempts to associate Cliven Bundy, his family and supporters with anti-government freeloaders ‘illegally’ grazing cattle on government property. Instead of analyzing the information from the perspective of objectivity, the SPLC immediately begins with factually false agenda positioning accusations – identifying the article as a polarizing hit-piece against Americans supporting the Constitution, Common Law Property Rights and States Rights.

 

The Bundy family and Patriarch Cliven Bundy have recently been the focus of an aggressive attack by elements of the Federal Government of the United States under the direction of the Bureau of Land Management (BLM).

 

Using fear, intimidation, and public policy as color of law, the BLM has been attempting to coerce the Bundy family into a willful ceding of the families’ rights to use public land for grazing and watering of their livestock. The Bureau of Land Management, listed at manta.com as a privately held company incorporated in Washington DC in 1946,  built a heavily fortified position (a firebase of foreign occupation) in the Nevada public lands, near the land used by the Bundy family, for purposes of forcibly enjoining the use of the land.

 

The Southern Poverty Law Center, carrying water for the Federal Government, accused the Bundy family and supporters of  “threatening to open up a “range war” with the federal government if they rounded up the cattle he had illegally grazing on public lands.”  Note also the SPLC, apparently not very knowledgable about law, claimed the cattle were illegally grazing on the public lands.

 

Saying the cattle were illegally grazing is not a statement backed up in the article by the SPLC, except by casual reference to the Federal Government’s position. The Federal Government claims Bundy could continue to graze his cattle on the ‘public’ lands if he paid Federal Government fees.

 

The Law regarding long standing property rights based in Adverse Possession and Prior Appropriation of Water Rights, and other common law precedences for Bundy’s claimed rights, do not simply vanish because the Federal Government creates a fee schedule and other pretended Color of Law via unconstitutional corporate regulations and public policy.  

 

Bureau of Land Management Declares War

 

The article claimed Bundy was going to start a range war, but it was the BLM showing up with 200 men, most armed to the teeth, including tasers and guns with positions covered by snipers, who threatened war.
