SWAT Raid Family Home After Finding Tea Leaves in Their Trash

Adlynn and Robert Harte, along with their two children, were innocent victims of a SWAT-style raid by Kansas and Missouri deputies as a part of “Operation Constant Gardener.” Conducted on April 20th of last year, the operation was perceived as being a publicity stunt meant to terrorize potential Marijuana growers. The circumstances of how the Harte family found themselves such a situation serves to sound the alarm to the encroaching police state American citizens seem to have found themselves parts of.

Mr. Harte was originally targeted after shopping at local hydroponics shop The Green Circle, which prompted a State Highway Patrolman to phone in a tip, seven months later,  to the local sheriff’s office. This tip, would be used to file a affidavit complaint against Mr. Harte and obtain a search warrant. The legal items Mr. Hart had purchased intended for an indoor organic farming project that he and his son were planning. The reasoning behind the drastic delay in reporting the tip was left unanswered by the Highway Patrol.
