Actor Kevin Spacey Shares Photo With Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto
American actor Kevin Spacey posted a photograph on Twitter taken with Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto, who he joked was “also making progress in his 1st year in office.”
Spacey, who plays a politician, Francis Underwood, who becomes president of the United States at the end of season two of the popular series “House of Cards,” said in his post that “1 President is real” in the photograph.
The 54-year-old actor was one of the special guests at Mexico’s Tianguis Tourism Fair, which was held in the Caribbean resort city of Cancun this year.
The Mexican president also posted a photo taken with the actor on Twitter and said “it was a pleasure to meet you last night.”
The 47-year-old Peña Nieto told “House of Cards” fans that he could not give away any details about season three of the series, which deals with corruption in the U.S. political system.
Season three of the series, which is streamed on Netflix, is expected to start in February 2015.
