Theft of ALL items in house were taken and seller, Sweet, was employee with Sheriff’s Dept.!
CSPOA needs to go to State of Michigan to take Legal Action!
This is worse than Cliven Bundy issue, and this could be only one case!

From illegal land grabs to illegal home and personal belonging grabs. We aren’t even safe to go on vacation with our families and leave behind our homes and belongings. That is how US Navy veteran Theodore Visner and Kathy Smith feel after they left to go on vacation and came back to an empty house.

(MT. Pleasant, MI) Two and a half years ago the family had become victims to real estate fraud by Isabella County Sheriff’s dept.employ Shelly Sweet.

Ted Visner says they purchased their former home on land contract, only to learn seven months later, that the seller, Sweet was not making monthly payments on the house. A bank foreclosed on the property, all unbeknownst to the Visner/Smith family.

“They came and took our house and everything in it, nobody has been able to help me because the police are involved.” Ted Visner said.

“The woman we bought our house from worked for the sheriff’s department and she changed her mind and instead of using the courts to get her house back, through due process, she uses the sheriff’s department to come in and steal all of our stuff.”

“The Sheriff’s department came in when we where out of town and they completely emptied our house. There was no warrant, there was no due process, no eviction, no for closer,  just theft by police.” Sweet had lied to the sheriffs office that Visner and his wife stopped making payments even though Mr. Visner had cancelled checks proving otherwise.

Sweet, who knew at the time the family would be out of town, offered the families personal possessions to her friends and coworkers at the Isabella County Sheriff’s dept, claiming the family had abandoned the home. Many took advantage of the freebee’s and claimed over 55,000 dollars worth of the families personal property. “She just put a sign out and let anybody have what they wanted, she didn’t remember who was there. In her own deposition she admits to giving our stuff away.” Visner expressed.

 “I don’t have any criminal background, I served six years in the Navy on submarines, my wife and I have kids, we don’t deserve this, nobody in the world deserves this”

Visner says the following people participated in the crimes against his family. Isabella County Sheriff Deputy Clinton Steinert Isabella County Sheriff Department Clerk Shelly Sweet Isabella County under-sheriff John Tellis Isabella County Sheriff Leo Mioduszewski Isabella County Board of Commissioners (7 or 8) Isabella County Prosecuting Attorney Larry Burdick (out-going) Isabella County Prosecuting Attorney Risa Scully (incoming)

“Our story needs to go viral, people need to know that they have to stand up for their rights, when we stop standing for our rights we won’t have them anymore.” He concluded that statement by adding that you only have rights when people in positions of authority listen.
