The Bell Tolls Again! Idaho witness photographs hovering bell-shaped UFO
An Idaho witness in Ada County reported watching and photographing a “massive bell-shaped object hovering in the sky” about 8:15 a.m. on May 1, 2014, according to testimony in Case 55952 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.
The witness was driving westbound along Chinden Boulevard when the object was noticed hovering in the northwest sky.
“It just stayed there,” the witness stated. “In scale, it appeared to be larger than a hot air balloon. I tried asking others about the sighting. They just guessed it may have been a hot air balloon.”
The witness included two images with the MUFON report, which was filed on May 2, 2014. The object is circled in the white area of the image.
“The object was in the sky for five minutes that I saw and then it descended behind the tree line.”
Ada County is a county in the southwestern part of Idaho, population 392,365. Idaho MUFON is investigating.
Idaho has a current UFO Alert Rating of 5 with a low number of recent reports nationally. Idaho had 8 UFO reports in April 2014 – the 28th highest reporting state – while California had 80 reports – the highest reporting state in the nation. The above quotes were edited for clarity.
