This was followed up promptly bya Bloomberg report that government forces engaged in firefight after ambush by separatists in Slovyansk, Interfax reports, citing acting Interior Minister Arsen Avakov. Number of soldiers killed unknown, Avakov is cited as saying by news service

- UKRAINE’S INTERIOR MINISTRY SAYS CIVILIANS KILLED IN FIGHTING
A militia HQ spokesman as many as 20 fighters of the self-defense troops may have been killed in the latest clashes, according to Interfax.
It now seems that war is here to stay. Fighting erupted and has not stopped for days now. There was more action in Odessa today as well. Odessa is where some 40 pro-russian rioters were burned to death by a crown of Kiev loyalists just a couple of days ago. The police HQ was stormed by a crown of thousands of pro-rusian protesters and the jail was raided and their comrades were released from there.
