You probably don’t know me, but like you I am one of those .01%ers, a proud and unapologetic capitalist. I have founded, co-founded and funded more than 30 companies across a range of industries—from itsy-bitsy ones like the night club I started in my 20s to giant ones like Amazon.com, for which I was the first nonfamily investor.
I tell you all this to demonstrate that in many ways I’m no different from you. Like you, I have a broad perspective on business and capitalism. And also like you, I have been rewarded obscenely for my success, with a life that the other 99.99 percent of Americans can’t even imagine.

But let’s speak frankly to each other. I’m not the smartest guy you’ve ever met, or the hardest-working. I was a mediocre student. I’m not technical at all—I can’t write a word of code. What sets me apart, I think, is a tolerance for risk and an intuition about what will happen in the future. Seeing where things are headed is the essence of entrepreneurship. And what do I see in our future now?
I see pitchforks.
At the same time that people like you and me are thriving beyond the dreams of any plutocrats in history, the rest of the country—the 99.99 percent—is lagging far behind. The divide between the haves and have-nots is getting worse really, really fast. In 1980, the top 1 percent controlled about 8 percent of U.S. national income. The bottom 50 percent shared about 18 percent. Today the top 1 percent share about 20 percent; the bottom 50 percent, just 12 percent.
But the problem isn’t that we have inequality. Some inequality is intrinsic to any high-functioning capitalist economy. The problem is that inequality is at historically high levels and getting worse every day. Our country is rapidly becoming less a capitalist society and more a feudal society. Unless our policies change dramatically, the middle class will disappear, and we will be back to late 18th-century France. Before the revolution.

Did you know it says the rich are obligated to help the poor. However, this does not work in a secular society.
So, it alll goes back to God, being God-fearing and loving your fellow God-fearing man. Communist and socialist are GODLESS. Though they purport to help the man lowest on he vine is patently false.
A house divided will fall. Capitalist vs communist, rich vs poor, liberals vs conservatives, etc. So EXPECT war. The bad one! WW-3.

So tired of people dragging in religion into everything! I am not going to be God fearing! I do not fear a God, that is silly, silly multiplied by 100X. Don’t ever tell me to be fearful. If God is all loving then there is no reason to be living in fear. Sick, sick, sick in the head.
Fear of God……..another misleading interpretation created by the powermongers that formed “Christianity”. Awe and wonder should be correct words. Ever had a crack of thunder right over your head…….did you find yourself ducking down, remember the awesome feeling of being small and powerless in comparison. That is the “fear”. If you hold God (Our Father in Heaven) in his rightful place, you do understand how much he loves you. This is something that the ‘church’ has perverted along with a myriad of other misleading doctrines, designed to block the door to life. The usurper Paul railroaded the true message of Jesus and the good news has been perverted ever since. People worship a false idol (the bible) and they no longer can seek the creator without this ‘precious book’. If God does not change and His word stands forever, how come we have so many versions and translations of this book. Christians are idol worshippers while they maintain that the bible is their only reference point, especially when they start spouting the religious ideas formed in the tormented and envious mind of a wicked man ‘turned good’. Get a grip peeps, God speaks to you through His creation, not a new testament written by a murderer, and a liar…..aren’t those the characteristics of the devil himself? God loves us, Jesus is the ransom for our freedom and the door into life, that is all we need to know. Paul fouled the water that we have been drinking from ever since. Don’t hate God because of religion, love him because he gave you your life and wants to be reconnected with you.
The only real way to eliminate the divide is to share what you and the 0.1% have with the rest of the 99%. If you the 1% where to give up most of what you have to the 99% you would end up on equal ground with the 99% but, and this is a big but, the 99% would be elevated to a closer point similar to the 1%. In turn everyone would be well fed, there would be no divide, health wouldn’t be a concern, because we could all live in harmony with one another. At that point the whole “divide” wouldn’t exist, we’d all be equal and able to reach a higher level or understanding and appreciation for one another.
If only you 1% weren’t so selfish and egotistical. We would all improve. Charities don’t count, because that’s another corporation out to get money not to take care of people.
If things don’t change you can expect a revolution, before it becomes 18th century France.
Keep in mind I am not threatening you, or the 1% I am just stating what I have seen and felt is going on with the 99%. We are all anxious and stirring and planning. Expect the revolution to start sooner than you think.
