TSA to Raise Groping Fees Charged to Passengers

The Transportation Security Administration will raise fees added to airline ticket prices which offset the costs for performing body scans and pat downs, all while the federal government encourages illegals to freely cross America’s largely unguarded borders.

The fees are currently $2.50 for a non-stop flight or $5.00 for a trip with a layover, but with next month’s increase that Congress approved back in December, the new fees will be $5.60 for a non-stop flight and an extra $5.60 for each leg of the trip when the flights are over four hours apart.

“The revenue is to be used to offset TSA costs for providing civil aviation security services, after stipulated amounts are applied to reduction of the Federal deficit,” stated Ross Feinstein, press secretary for the TSA, in a press release to Fox Business.

In other words, the TSA wants to charge passengers more money for having their rights violated with impunity while also ensuring that airports across America are zones of Orwellian tyranny intended to turn America into a compliant prison population.

Time and time again, passengers have complained about being sexually assaulted by TSA screeners, yet the agency has done nothing to stop such practices even though the TSA has quietly admitted that the invasive body scanners and pat downs are ineffective at stopping a threat of which the agency admits “there is no evidence.”

“…Both the nude body scanners and the pat-downs are more extensive and intensive than necessary to detect non-metallic explosives in light of available alternatives,” reads a Statement of Argumentfor a court case regarding the TSA’s security practices. “Additionally, they are ineffective at addressing the threat at hand and are incredibly invasive, which is to be balanced against the risk of a threat for which the TSA has admitted there is no evidence. Accordingly, both procedures are independently unconstitutional.”

Another sealed document from the same court case points out that the TSA “analyzed hijackings in 2007, and found seven hijacking incidents across the globe, but none of them involved actual explosive devices,” adding that the last attempt to bring an explosive on-board an airplane through a U.S. airport occurred over 35 years ago.

“…The government concedes that it would be difficult to have a repeat of 9/11 due to hardened cockpit doors and the willingness of passengers to challenge hijackers rather than assume a hijacking merely means a diversion to Cuba,” the document added.

Yet the TSA’s abuse of Americans continues.

Back in October, for example, a TSA loudspeaker announcement warned travelers who cracked jokes about the agency’s absurd security practices could be arrested for engaging in free speech.

“You are also reminded that any inappropriate remarks or jokes concerning security may result in your arrest,” the message stated.

The TSA has also ordered travelers who had already passed security to “freeze” on command.

“Note that the TSA ‘guard’ is offering no explanation, only giving harsh threats and orders to stay still,” the video uploader wrote. “…There was NO event or threat taking place of any kind.”

Contrast all of this to the federal government’s pampering of illegal aliens who are walking straight through completely unguarded and wide open border “fences” which are the extreme opposite of TSA security checkpoints.

The government has no idea who exactly are coming across the border illegally, but because many government officials, particularly Democrats, see the influx of illegals as a new voting block, they are giving them free food, housing and bus tickets to anywhere in the country.

The Border Patrol has even been ordered to stand down from enforcing immigration and trafficking laws.

“It doesn’t matter whether it’s drugs, bodies, or how large the group is, our agents are being ordered to stand down by Border Patrol management,” Shawn Moran, Vice President of the National Border Patrol Council, told Breitbart News back in October. “I have received reports from our agents in every single sector from San Diego to the Rio Grande Valley in Texas that they are receiving these orders.”

“They are not being relieved in place, they are simply being told that someone else is being dispatched, but none of us have seen that occur,” he continued. “We are simply being ordered to stand down and stop tracking and trying to apprehend the criminals.”

The Border Patrol has effectively been reduced to a taxi service delivering illegal aliens to Greyhound buses where they will be shipped deeper into the U.S. as the borders are effectively erased.

Yet Americans on the other hand are routinely harassed at airports, highway checkpoints and evenkite festivals.

America’s security theater is nothing short of a scam intended to indoctrinate the public into accepting an unrestrained police state which will allow an emerging police-industrial complex to reap billions in profits under the guise of protecting America’s “homeland,” all while the federal government imports millions of illegal immigrants as a future voting block expected to help further expand the size of government.

“The whole thing is that ‘the state is sacred’ and in order to have a state, the government, continue to grow, it’s always at the expense of liberty,” former Congressman Dr. Ron Paul so eloquently stated.

The constant agenda of the government is to grow, and it will use any reason or excuse to do just that.
