We Now Know Why President Obama Traded Five Top Taliban For Bowe Bergdahl

Because Bergdahl was, apparently a deserter and virulently anti-American. We’re sure President Obama believes in his heart that it was a great trade. Here’s a snip from the New York Post.
Bowe Bergdahl would detail his disillusionment with the Afghanistan campaign in an e-mail to his parents three days before he went missing.
“I am sorry for everything here,” he wrote. “These people need help, yet what they get is the most conceited country in the world telling them that they are nothing and that they are stupid.”
Bergdahl also complained about fellow soldiers. The battalion commander was a “conceited old fool,” he said, and the only “decent” sergeants, planning to leave the platoon “as soon as they can,” told the privates — Bergdahl then among them — “to do the same.”
“I am ashamed to be an American. And the title of US soldier is just the lie of fools,” he concluded. “I am sorry for everything. The horror that is America is disgusting.”
His dad, who looks like a Taliban convert, responded to the email with this exhortation: “OBEY YOUR CONSCIENCE!” It appears he did.
One night, after finishing a guard-duty shift Bowe Bergdahl asked his team leader whether there would be a problem if he left camp with his rifle and night-vision goggles — to which the team leader replied “yes.”
Bergdahl then returned to his bunker, picked up a knife, water, his diary and a camera, and left camp, according to Rolling Stone.
The next morning, he was reported missing, and later that day, a drone and four fighter jets began to search for him.
It’s pretty clear, based on this account, that Bergdahl is a deserter, and this is where it gets really interesting. For some reason the army pushed the soldiers in his unit – and his parents – to sign non-disclosure agreements.
The White House has been, as we’d expect, silent on this. “Frankly, we don’t give a s–t why he left,” one White House official said at the time. “He’s an American soldier. We want to bring him home.” Left unsaid was, “So the President can look like he cares about the troops.”
We’re sure the major media will be in full damage control mode, but this may have legs because Bergdahl’s fellow soldiers are very unhappy with him.
Javier Ortiz, a former combat medic in the Army, said he is frustrated with Bergdahl’s actions and thinks he should be tried for desertion, even after five years in captivity in Pakistan. Many U.S. troops had misgivings about the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan while they were deployed but did not act on them as Bergdahl did, said Ortiz, of Lawton, Okla.

“Because of Bergdahl, more men were out in danger, and more attacks on friendly camps and positions were conducted while we were out looking for him,” it continued. “His actions impacted the region more than anyone wants to admit.”
“I was pissed off then and I am even more so now with everything going on,” said former Sergeant Matt Vierkant, a member of Bergdahl’s platoon when he went missing on June 30, 2009. “Bowe Bergdahl deserted during a time of war and his fellow Americans lost their lives searching for him.”
Vierkant said Bergdahl needs to not only acknowledge his actions publicly but face a military trial for desertion under the Uniform Code of Military Justice.
If Barack Obama had a son in the US Army, he’d be Bowe Bergdahl.

The story as carried by the media: Bergdahl was disenchanted, as known from communications with parents and others. (The military routinely views and censors all communications from people in combat areas, so the military knew he was a possible deserter.) He deserts. The military have known the facts of his desertion for five years, from his fellow soldiers. Obama then trades the known deserter for five high-value prisoners.
Am I the only one who has a problem with this narrative?
Given the facts as reported, which may or may not be true to some extent or another, I guess that we’re looking at this backwards.
The operation was not about getting Bergdahl back. It was about finding some reason – any justification at all – to return the five prisoners.
So, why so important to return those five? Had they (1) been ‘flipped’? (2) been planted with importantly false information? (3) been tagged so they can be tracked to even bigger fish? Or, (4) are they part of some bigger operation we don’t know about yet? Or, (5) – your guess…

The Bigger Question:
Why is this surveillance state, spying on Americans, recording all transmissions such a high priority to
supposedly prevent terrorism when you have an enemy collaborator desert his post and then trade him
for five of the worst legitimate, known terrorists?
This looks a lot like “checkmate” against the American people.
If you read the Rolling Stone’s article on Bergdahl, you’d swear that they were praising a young Eisenhower or something. Seriously, they bring up NO negatives about him, and through various points, make sure that the young liberal-progressive-socialist minds understand that HE IS A HERO, without doubt.
Once again, we are back in the ’60′s, and we now have a new ‘Saigon Jane’ for the unproductive liberals to cheer over. I’m sure he will end up rich quickly.
This matter is still gnawing at the back of my mind. There are several outcomes so far:
1) Bergdahl is returned to U.S.
2) Five high-value Guantanamo prisoners are released
3) The President is on the hot seat for making the trade for a deserter.
Presuming at least one of the outcomes was the desired outcome, then which one(s) are they?
1) Makes no sense. There seems to be no reason for the military to want Bergdahl back in the U.S.
2) As in my previous post, there may be some unspoken value in the release of the release of the captives. But, what?
3) Makes a whole lot of sense. Suppose this was a setup by the military to put the President on the hot seat. Suppose they pitched the swap to him as a chance to look like a hero, getting an American soldier back and getting rid of a couple of flunky Guantanamo prisoners. They just conveniently forget to mention that the American soldier is a deserter who could be charged with treason. The military might just get rid of the President that they hate with no shots fired.
I caanot, for the life of me, figure out people walk into these situations, unawares, but profilers assume that all vets are disenchanted.
There must be more to this story than we are being told. No sane government would get six people killed and then trade five commanders in an attempt to rescue a private. Maybe the 5 released Talibans have been chipped to give us more information before being turned off.
Americans are a bunch of idiotic morons!

The obama administration wanted to setup a meeting with the South African honorable president and he was denied access to South Africa. They say that South Africa has only political ties with China, Russia, Brazil and India and requested that America and it’s president stay out of South Africa totally. Incidentally barrack Hussein gay Obama was denied access to Africa!
Hilarious if you ask me. America is a looser in total and now the laughing stock of the world! There is NO respect for any American anywhere in the world at all, neither for the baby draw the red line president of America anymore!
With the way that Obama has striped the military of honor and rights and allowed the deviancy of gays I would imagine many if not most soldiers are angry…..it is not the military I grew up with that is for sure!!!! They want to make us look like fools so they in WA won’ t look so bad…..it is all a real mess and there is not honor left. That is not to say the soldiers are bad it is the command that is now. Soon no one will want to go in and if they do and find it the way it is becoming they will not stay long. That is why Obama is importing so many foreigners to do our fighting and will do as O says…..against us!! I do not think Bergdahl should get away with desertion or to help the enemy….they are to help us and America! When soldiers are in country they are not babysitters….though it often turns out to seem like it. Obama has gotten rid of all the high command so he can run rough shod!! The poor soldiers that have come home all torn up and no jobs can thank idiot Obama for all of that….him and hi s buddies the muslims!
Besides the five high value prisoners, the White House also outed a CIA agent. Not to mention the number of generals Obama has fired during his turn. Why is he still in office?
Trading five Generals for a Private, just doesn’t sound like a fair deal.
