Robber holds 5- and 9-year-old at gunpoint, steals their bike (VIDEO)
A robber held two children, 5 and 9, at gunpoint and stole one of their bikes in Cleveland Tuesday.
The unidentified suspect approached the two brothers as they rode their bikes in their front yard. The robber shoved the 5-year-old off his bike and pulled a gun on the elder brother before making off with his Schwinn kids mountain bike, 19 Action News reports.
One witness said she heard someone trying to break into her home moments before the suspect approached the children.
“I was on the phone with dispatch,” the witness said. “I looked up and this guy was grabbing the bike from the two little kids across the street. It’s awful that anybody would be faced with that but they’re little tiny kids.”
The suspect remains at large and police ask anyone with information regarding the incident contact Officer Janet Murphy at 216-623-5218.
