World's 'Biggest Sinkhole' Baffles Scientists Sparking Rumor Of Crashed UFO Site (Video)
A mysterious gigantic sinkhole has appeared in Russia – and nobody knows where it came from or how deep it is. It opened up in the peninsula of Yamal, a place which locals call the ‘end of the world’.
At 80 metres wide, the sinkhole is believed to be the biggest ever spotted in the country and could be one of the deepest ever recorded in the world.
Speculation of what has caused the phenomenon include rumours of a crashed UFO, a meteorite hitting the earth, global warming or a sinkhole caused by collapsing rock.
This is bizarre! I wonder if it is on Google Earth…? It could be many things. An opening to Hollow Earth? Crashed UFO? Entrance way to Hell? Could be anything from the munsane to the fantastic and that’s the mystery that I hope will draw people to this story and investigate it further. Thoughts?

If it’s a sinkhole why is the earth pushed up around it?
Good observation! That is not your typical sink hole. In fact, I agree totally with you that it is not a sink hole at all. But as to what caused, I have no clue.

the dirt piled up around it makes it look as though it was pushed out from below, or from digging?
could they have been digging and had a cave in?

Where’s the evidence of H2O at the bottom of hole? I realize it’s arid/dry terrain, but usually sink holes are due to underground saturation — are they not? Usually the case here in Florida, anyhow.
