CNN’s Don Lemon Alleges National Guard Called Protesters the “N” Word
Don Lemon is a controversial character, but he seems to be emotionally invested in the protests occuring in Ferguson, Missouri. Lemon told a story on the air that surprised some observers, as he said that one of his production people overheard a member of the National Guard use the n-word when referring to the protesters.
Lemon doesn’t say if the guardsman was black or white, which could be another issue within itself. But the implications are still quite disturbing. So, we ask: Is this the attitude of one person or something that can be aggregated to the collective? What does it all mean and why did Lemon mention it on the air?
