No limit to your account’s friends: If you’re popular enough to get over 5,000 friends, we think that’s great! More power to you!

It’s exactly what it says it is…not quite all of the Facebook features..but it gets the job done and is safe and free press oriented. Go try it out!
I have tried it for a couple weeks now. It works fine and there are some pretty nice and active folks there.

I am on a Sat ISP system and the latency does make me pay attention while typing. However, for that small factor – everything else is “as advertised”… no worries, mate!
They went thru a major attack just after start-up…there was like 1500 members then…but, they fought their way clear and it is a much more robust site now — with many new features coming online.
The encrypted chat rooms have been a requested service since day #1….they are coming!
What is not mentioned, is their sister site: Unseen.is which is one of the TOTALLY SECURE sites…safe from NSA et al… This one requires you to load a client. This one costs money, per month/yr.
Not selling your info or allowing any spooks into it online is the way life online should be….not the exception!

Yes i have seen this so called soft censorship from Twitter and most of my tweets get hidden from view and tweet about certain subjects and all you RT’s stop coming.
Facebook are scum too and work with google to distort what we get to read on the internet.
I just had a look at the site and would like to report its cool and does not embed google spyware scripts all over it like most sites do and they seem to be returning 403 pages for the content so that pages are not cached. Ebay does this too on some ebay items so that the pages are not cahched by the browser. ATS does this on all pages in some forums.

I would have no trouble crawling the site via code i write that uses relay stations so maybe best to dump this bit.
All in all very good and we need to move away from web sites that are operated from the USA because they are little more than data mines for the NSA

I told the face to F$€K Off last week, I worked damn hard to make an animation, at the end of it my name grows out of it, they cut off the last few seconds where my name comes up at the end, and it makes the whole project worthless if that is cut away. I loaded it twice, it was no accident. It was the last straw for me, I sent an email to them telling them I was sick of their……. It was a rough email, but i was angry. So long face, hope you die soon.
What I also wanted to say was others can load their filth and nothing is done about that.
Facebook is only a tool. To reject and ignore it, allows them to win. Use it. That is what they do not want.
