% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

A ghost hunter was stabbed during a paranormal investigation in southeast Iowa earlier this morning. Sheriff deputies were called to the infamous Villisca Ax Murder House after midnight to investigate, KMA Land reported today.

A paranormal investigator participating in an overnight ghost hunt in Villisca, Iowa at the Villisca Ax Murder House last night was stabbed earlier this morning. Steven Laursen, Jr. of Rhinelander, Wisconsin reportedly stabbed himself just after midnight.

Montgomery County Sheriff deputies and the Red Oak Police Department arrived on scene around 12:45 a.m and found Laursen with self-inflicted stab wounds. Laursen’s injuries were so serious that he was rushed to the hospital and arrived at the Clarinda Regional Health Center to be transported by helicopter to the Creighton Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska.

This is creepy!!  And I doubt it’s hardly a stunt for more tickets.  Nobody, in their right mind, is going to put his life in jeopardy for the reputation of a haunted house. In time, we will find out if the victim is thought to have been influenced by the spirits of the infamous house.  Given it’s dark history, you have to wonder. It was the first thing that came to my mind!   The video below is a recent paranormal radio show about the infamous Villisca Axe Murder House.  Enjoy..
