The polls are closed, the votes are counted, and when the new Congress reconvenes in January Harry Reid will no longer be Senate Majority Leader!

To every Second Amendment supporter who worked to kick the anti-gunners out of office this year, Thank You!

Thanks to your generous support, your National Association for Gun Rights blanketed key states with highly-targeted direct mail, email and digital ad campaigns exposing the records of anti-gun politicians.

From North Carolina to Iowa to Alaska and in states in between, anti-gun U.S. Senators were kicked to the curb by Second Amendment supporters.

Anti-gun Senators like Mark Pryor, Mark Udall, and Mark Begich, all of whom supported Obama’s gun control legislation you fought against in 2013 were defeated and replaced by Republicans with records of support for the Second Amendment.

Meanwhile, vicious anti-gunners like Bruce Braley in Iowa and Kay Hagan in North Carolina went down in flames.

What that means is, when the new Senate meets for the first time in 2015, Republicans will have a majority, holding at least 52 out of 100 seats.

But there is a serious danger you and I must face in the next few weeks.

Early next week, Harry Reid will return to Washington to preside over the “Lame Duck” session of Congress.

He’ll still be Majority Leader, sitting atop an anti-gun Democrat Majority and he’ll still control what comes to the floor of the Senate.

With Reid facing re-election in 2016, he’d like nothing more than to join up with Barack Obama and anti-gun Senators who lost last night to sneak through gun control on their way out the door.

There’s already mounting pressure on Republicans to cave and give Reid and Obama what they want during the Lame Duck.

The mainstream media is awash in talk of “compromise” and you and I both know what that means . . . watch out for your gun rights.

That’s why it’s vital you remind Republican Senators that Second Amendment supporters are the ones who got them back in the majority and expect them not to give an inch.

I’m especially concerned the U.N. Gun Ban Treaty could be brought up for a vote.  You see, the Republican-controlled House of Representatives has no say in treaty ratification, so if Harry Reid can get just a few Republicans to cave in, anything could happen.
