Texas And Indiana Voting Irregularities (Picture)

It seems that the powers that be are mucking up the election process for both voters and candidates. In Texas, there appears to be a problem with gubernatorial ballots:

An elections administrator in Bexar County, Texas, says her office is investigating a voting machine that appeared to leave off Republican gubernatorial candidate Greg Abbott’s name.

“We’ve had complaints that we don’t understand,” Jacque Callanen told TheBlaze. “I’m sending someone out to bring that booth into us.”

An image of the voting booth was posted on social media by Jocelyn Tovar, a reporter for WOAI/KABB, according to her Twitter account.

In Indiana, people who registered on line may not be able to vote, without going to the county election office and updating their voter registration information. I was with a voter ths morning; as she tried to vote, the pll woker said she was not registered; she voted in 2008, but the system hadd her old address, which did not match her current ID. She had to drive to the county election office to get the indormation changed. Now, it is cold and rainy, and for someone who doesn’t drive, that’s a bus ride or cab ride down to the election office.

Voter suppession? Possibly.

Connecticut Governor Dan Malloy is demanding extended polling hours due to “completely inappropriate” voting irregularities at multiple polls.

The governor’s campaign office has filed a complaint in Superior Court seeking an injunction that would keep the polls open past their scheduled 8:00 p.m. closing time following reports of problems at Hartford polling stations.

“Because of delays and other problems at Hartford polling locations, we are filing a complaint in Hartford Superior Court asking that voting hours be extended to accommodate voters who were unable to vote or were discouraged from voting this morning,” the Malloy campaign said in a press release.

“Currently the polls in Hartford are working smoothly and voters can cast their ballots. We encourage everyone to vote.”

Voters arriving to many polls in the state’s largest city — and capital — were turned away early Tuesday morning because officials failed to deliver voter lists, according to local station WTIC. MOREHERE
