Australia's Revolutionary Charlie The Farmer TV Ad Rocks Parliament. Watch Full Version Here On BIN.

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

Charlie the Farmer’s new TV ad is making some big waves in Australia, the kind fossil fueled corporatist governments despise and the kind clever protesters have created without risking their lives by demonstrating on the streets.

“We’ve been receiving calls from MPs — and Maurice Newman, the Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Business Advisory Council, took a crack at GetUp’s “expensive TV ad” in The Australian last week,” says Australian social media group, Get Up!

Have you seen it yet?

Imagine putting destitute American farmers back to work, instead of buying into non-renewable energy military madness violence under the guise of 9/11 terrorism.

Australian Surf’s Up

Now that they’ve got the Aussie surf up, Get Up! says they just need to make waves large enough to turn the right-wing tide of opposition to the Renewable Energy Target (RET).

The Australian government, under Prime Minister Tony Abbot’s rule, originally signalled deep cuts to its RET. It commissioned a businessman and self-professed climate sceptic Dick Warburton to undertake a review. Naturally, he recommended slashing the RET to about 16,000 gigawatt hours. Just one problem, along with worsening global warming, pollution and human health: almost 90% of Aussies don’t support that dirty fossil fuel  recommendation, based on a recently conducted WWF survey, according to the Guardian.

Aussies want solar energy and jobs it produces. They want to jeep their farmers on the land farming wind. They do not want more drought caused by fossil fuel-fed global warming. They’ve had enough of fossil fuel industry’s myths, lies and – nonsense.

“Cutting the RET makes no sense,” said WWF spokeswoman Kellie Caught. “It will see Australia’s carbon pollution go up, sustainable energy jobs lost and investment shut out. It’s also out of line with public sentiment which is clearly in favour of supporting growth in Australia’s renewable energy sector, including wind and solar,”

Get Up! said in a written staement Tuesday, “At a time when the government and right-wing vested interests are hell-bent on going against popular opinion and common sense, people like Charlie, the millions of Australians choosing to go solar and the thousands of people who have switched their energy to 100% renewable sources are proving with their actions that attacking the RET is – just like the busted budget – another nonstrategic selling of a government concept no one is buying.”

“As the political year closes, let’s make it clear as day just how unpopular axing the RET would be. When a new (potentially reshuffled) Parliament walks through the door next year, we can ensure they know that keeping the RET is the best way to avoid one further nail in the coffin.”

How Aussies Are Challenging NWO Corporate Government Without Leaving Their Homes

Australians are not viewing national protests of angry demonstrators on their TVs. Australian protesters are not bating their police with daily actions. Instead, Aussies have taken their protests directly to TV screens being viewed by millions of people daily.

They raised funds for the highly professional ad and are raising funds for more of the same to destabalize their corporate government. As in its ally, the U.S., the corporate government of Oz is hell-bent on killing renewable energy projects at all costs – including human health and life.

“Are you up for it?” Get Up!  asks its readers. “Chip in here so we can make a big splash – on TV and online – with this controversial new TV ad.”

Get Up! says thousands of its members chipped in to get its new TV ad on the air and now, they need to go further.

“Just yesterday former Liberal leader John Hewson said that uncertainty about the renewable energy target is a political barnacle waiting to be removed, and new polling released by WWF this week showed a whopping 89% of Australians support protecting the RET.
