Show Some Humanitarian Spunk: Obama’s Cuban Spy Sperm Courier Service

It’s already being hailed as one of Obama’s few successful overseas operations.

It’s an incredible story and everyone wants to know: how Did Cuban Spy Jailed in US Impregnate His Wife in Cuba? 

Was it a case of ‘psychic sex’, a secret conjugal visit, or did Obama act as a sperm courier for Cuban super-spook Gerardo Hernandez, who was sweating it out in a US federal pen?

According to sources in Havana, iconic Cuban Revolutionary leader, Fidel Castro is said to over the moon at the conception story which has dominated Cuban state-run media this week.

Hernandez was part of the notorious ‘Cuban Five’ gang of Havana covert agents hiding and working inside the US, mainly in Florida, before being caught and arrested in 1998, only to be indicted and sentenced on charges ranging from espionage, conspiracy and first degree murder. His accomplices were fellow Castro spooks, Antonio Guerrero, Ramón Labañino, Fernando González, and René González). The Five are said to have been placed in the United States to observe and infiltrate the Cuban-American political and counter-revolutionary groups like Alpha 66, the F4 Commandos, the Cuban American National Foundation, and Brothers to the Rescue.

As it goes, Hernandez and The Five got off as part of Obama’s new détente with Cuba – as part of a spy swap for American and USAID ‘contractor’Alan Gross, people noticed his wife, Adriana Perez, was pregnant at their reunion. Jezebel.com explains:

“His wife Perez, who also worked for Cuban intelligence, was prohibited from seeing her husband in prison for the past 16 years, and yet, all of Cuba saw on state television last Wednesday, that she was about to pop. Naturally, rumors surrounding the pregnancy took two forms: either someone else was the father or perhaps a secret conjugal visit had been arranged.”

Hernandez explains what really happened, CNN reports:

“Everyone’s asking, and we have had a lot of fun with the comments and speculations. The reality is it had to be kept quiet,” Hernandez told the government-run television channel.

“We can’t give a lot of details, because we don’t want to hurt people who meant well.” - He said his wife’s pregnancy was a direct result of the high-level talks.

“One of the first things accomplished by this process was this,” Hernandez said, gesturing to his Perez’s stomach. “I had to do it by ‘remote control’ but everything turned out well.”

OPERATION RED WANK: The President and Senator Leahy shake on the historic deal.

It turns out that Obama gave the plan a green light after a “humanitarian sperm-aid” deal was put together by none other than US Senator Patrick Leahy of Vermont.

Reports say that there were two deliveries made, because the first attempt failed to get Perez pregnant. Leahy was determined, however, encouraging Hernandez to soldier on and have another crack at it.

NBC reported how the deal came about: “The stage was set for the long-distance conception in February 2013 when Leahy and his wife Marcelle traveled to Cuba as part of his long-standing efforts to improve relations with the United States. At the time, Gross was still languishing in a Cuban prison, after being convicted of crimes against the Communist island for bringing computer and satellite equipment there.”

“Whatever it was going to take to get Alan Gross released was also going to involve a solution for the Cuban prisoners,” said Tim Rieser, an aide to Leahy.

So basically, Gross out out, because Hernandez got off. Got it.

A diplomatic feel good story if there ever was one…
