Contrary to most of Washington, Iran and North Korea have known that the US power grid is highly sensitive and vulnerable to attack by an EMP weapon, and have assigned their scientists and military planners to study the strategic impact of an EMP event.
North Korea seems to have successfully tested a “Super-EMP” weapon during its 2006 and 2009 nuclear weapons tests, while Iran has tested ballistic missiles in an EMP mode – that is, detonating them at high altitude, not in a ballistic trajectory – and regarded those tests a success.
Many experts believe the weapons programs of these two countries have been created as joint ventures, since Iranian scientists traveled to North Korea to help in North Korea’s 2006 and 2009 nuclear weapons test campaigns, and North Korean scientists regularly travel to Iran to take part in Iran’s missile tests.
Is an EMP attack on America far-fetched? It’s hard to say. But an America without power would essentially revert to the early 1800s, when a pre-industrial America was able to support a population of fewer than 100 million souls. Never forget one thing about martial law – your government has just declared you an enemy combatant by default, removing habeas corpus. The INSTANT this occurs, they see you as an enemy.
What do you do to your enemies? You engage and fire on them.
They usually forget that other side of the equation, make sure you do not. (also remember to take weapons, ammo and tactical supplies from their dead bodies, it usually unnerves them to withdraw from your area-of-occupation, thinking you could use their weapons against them).
Obviously, we need more ‘Andrew Jackson type of ‘leaders of the people’ should this happen, being as ‘Old Hickory’ would NEVER have tolerated a ‘martial law’ lockdown of America. I found this to be a really refreshing article.
I opened the story expecting to hear about either Nibiru, WW3, the economic collapse, China or Russia invading the US, martial law being declared, Yellowstone erupting, a UFO invasion or one of many other disasters that have been coming for the last 2 years since the 2012 Mayan apocalypse non-event.

Been hearing about this “scenario” for YEARS! What’s interesting is the same guy who was at a military base watching as the “events” of 9/11 unfolded has predicted that “something in the way of a nuclear explosion” is going to strike America, and that its not a matter of if, but when. A non-nuclear EMP can be generated over an area using scalar Tesla technology. Russian scientists developed this technology first, and other nations have developed as well. You can bet the boys who really call the shots can call the shot anytime they want to!

Despite my earlier somewhat tongue in cheek comment, I DO believe that this is one of those scenarios that not enough people are taking seriously. An EMP from either the Sun or another source has the capacity to be one of the most damaging events we could know. If everyone just stopped for a moment and considered what effect the loss of electricity and computer systems would have on their daily lives, they’d never sleep at night. I understand that the people whose job it is to prepare for this kind of scenario have predicted that lack of communication and rapid depletion of food stocks would lead to a break down of society within days – and so martial law would HAVE to be declared almost immediately. The very technology that is making everyone’s lives easier is the very technology which is going to destroy us because of our over-reliance of it. Scary times!
Sorry The Watcher, no matter how many times you repeat it, it does not make it true.
