Former three-term Texas governor Rick Perry hasn’t been out of office but a month and he’s already gearing up to run again. As he reboots his presidential ambitions, several key road blocks stand in his way, including two grand jury indictments — abuse of official capacity, a first-degree felony punishable by five to 99 years in prison, and coercion of a public servant. Perry is being accused threatening to veto money from the Travis County Public Integrity Unit unless District Attorney Rosemary Lehmberg resigned after her arrest and jail sentence for driving while intoxicated.
