It reminds me of a story my late grandfather told me. In 1917, he was drafted into the US Army and stationed in San Antoinio. At one point, his unit was assigned a duty to go out into the countryside and stop at each farm and ask the farmer how much livestiock, etc. etc. he had in case Uncle needed it.
