CLEVELAND, Ohio (INTELLIHUB) — Obama is up to his typical tyrannical shenanigans again as he told a local civic group Wednesday that he would love to see mandatory voting in the U.S., much like it is in Australia, Argentina, Belgium, and Brazil where people have no choice but to vote.
It would be “fun [...] transformative [...] if everybody voted, then it would completely change the political map in this country”, Obama said, setting the stage for future elections.
“The people who tend not to vote are young, they’re lower income, they’re skewed more heavily toward immigrant groups and minorities [...] There’s a reason why some folks try to keep them away from the polls.”, said the Commander-In-Chief.
Obama maintains that it would change the whole game involving money in politics but may take some time to achieve.
I guess if passed it would take the ‘privilege’ out of voting marking just another stepping stone toward total tyranny.
If manifested this would be a big step up from the 2012 turnout where “56 percent of eligible Americans cast ballots in the 2012 presidential election”, according to the Daily Mail.
Obama says he just wants to make it easier for Americans to vote, using that as his selling point. Not to mention automatic voter registration has already been pushed by Attorney General Eric Holder which was adopted in Oregon several days ago.
