Desdolarización: Irán y Turquía quieren comerciar en monedas nacionales

Turquía e Irán llevarán a cabo el comercio bilateral en sus monedas nacionales. Así, los dos países quieren evitar el dólar como moneda de reserva. Actualmente, el volumen comercial anual es de 14 mil millones de dólares.

El presidente iraní, Hassan Rouhani y su homólogo turco Recep Tayyip Erdogan han anunciado este martes en rueda de prensa la intención de llevar a cabo el comercio bilateral en monedas nacionales, informó la agencia de noticias iraní IRNA. Por otra parte, el volumen comercial entre los dos países es de 14 mil millones de dólares al año, con perspectiva de crecimiento hasta los 30 mil millones.

De acuerdo con el diario turco Hürriyet, Rouhani y Erdoğan también habrían decidido cerrar la coordinación para hacer frente a los conflictos regionales. Con respecto al conflicto Yemen Ankara y Teherán quieren trabajar para un alto el fuego.

Además, Erdogan está tratando de negociar descuentos en las importaciones de gas iraní. ”Compramos parte de todas las exportaciones de gas a Irán. Pero estas son también las importaciones de gas más caras. Si fuera posible bajar los precios un poco, importamos mucho más gas iraní “, dijo Erdoğan. (Irán es el segundo suministrador de gas a Turquía, después de Rusia con 10.000 millones de metros cúbicos anuales).
