Souls are immortal, yet after the death of the body, those souls may have ‘eternal life’ in perfect harmony with the creator. It is called the mystical body of Christ, which may not be attained on our own, that regardless of all of the best works. The ‘holy souls’ of the other religions outside of the Catholic Church will never ever be a part of the mystical body of Christ, that in spite of all their good works and of all their striving for purity. Those said holy souls will remain somewhat pure, but will remain wandering souls forever, and may be contacted through necromancy. Those are the ‘immortals’ of for example the Buddhists or the likes.
The souls are said to die through such names as ‘eternal death’, or ‘second death’, when condemned to hell. Hell exists, and it consists of the eternal and exponential torments of all the bad works done during the life on earth while the soul was contained into the perishable vessel of the flesh.
If I may continue with personal experiences, since having lived through dreams, visions, apparitions and transportation. Heaven was unsustainable to me due to its purity, its unspeakable beauty, its unselfish love, and its perfect order. I felt shameful there. Hell was also unsustainable due to the extremes of all the opposite experienced in Heaven. In both Heaven and hell, I had no will, no memory, no understanding, no strength, simply put I was like dead.
Back on my both feet, in my body of flesh, this is what I retained. Heaven is the place where everyone should want to be. Hell is the place where many will go without knowing. Hell is also the place where a certain elite willfully wishes to go, because this said elite think of remaining on top of a savage nation. I am speaking of the adepts to the occult, who strive at doing evil deeds, in order to be the baddest in hell. This elite, regardless if they have become the most evil emperor or empress during the temporal life, will still be like a school-yard bully among the most vicious mafioso. No one in hell is a match to fallen angels such as Belial or Vassago.
My synopsis to your own synopsis is that after death, the only way to go to heaven is, while alive, to turn towards the Christ Jesus; to follow His precepts without the slightest pride or presumption. The Christ must be adored rightfully, and steadfastly as both God and man -as man, necessitates the recognition of His first coming through a mother in the flesh, for without the veneration of the Mother of God, the Christ Jesus would be no more than a deceiving demon. The veneration of the Mother of Christ is as essential as the first step of a ladder in order to reach heaven and God.
All other beliefs, cults or confession are deceitful, and will make man the sons of the devil, instead of becoming sons of God.
