BREAKING: Obama's FAA Approves Police Drones
And true to Orwellian Doublespeak the authorities are opting not to call them drones but Unmanned Aircraft in order to not raise the ire of the public.
Currently the FAA has approved drones for 2 years for traffic investigations but Citizens are concerned that this is the first step in the incremental application of the new technology eventually being deployed against the citizenry for routine traffic enforcement and surveillance of innocent people.
Rasmussen reports only 20% of voters consider the federal government a protector of individual liberty. While Sixty percent (60%) of the public believe the US government is a threat to individual liberty. Only 19% trust the federal government to do the right thing.
Military Drones deployed in undeclared wars overseas currently have been the subject of much controversy. American citizens have been the target, then executed without without due process. The Constitution going up in smoke along with their lives.

In this recruiting video, produced for the Illinois State Police Merit Board by Hanson Webteam, they’re openly displaying snipers in full bush camouflage and wearing military style uniforms conducting high impact raids.
Ironically the recruiting video chronicles their own progression to a militarized force. It opens with nostalgic video of the days when the state police was a simple agency.
As the military industrial complex continues to milk the American taxpayers surplus war hardware is returning home for deployment on the streets of America.
Drones deployed for traffic investigations in the Land of Lincoln is only the first step.
