Baltimore State’s Attorney Seeking Order to Block Release of Freddie Gray Autopsy Report

Baltimore State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby has been attempting to restrict information on this case left and right.

The big question is: why?

Seeking a gag order to prevent people from participating in the case to discuss it in public is one thing, but not giving a copy of the autopsy report to the Baltimore PD? Attorneys for the defense also claim they have not only not been allowed to inspect the knife reportedly taken from Gray when he was arrested, but they also claim they have even been denied a basic outline of the evidence the state has against the officers charged in Gray’s murder.

Can Mosby even do that?

Now this, via the Baltimore Sun:

Baltimore State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby plans to seek a protective order that would block the release of Freddie Gray‘s autopsy report and other “sensitive” documents as she prosecutes the six police officers involved in his arrest.

Mosby told The Baltimore Sun that prosecutors “have a duty to ensure a fair and impartial process for all parties involved” and “will not be baited into litigating this case through the media.”

But an attorney for one of the officers said the effort shows that “there is something in that autopsy report that they are trying to hide.”

“Mrs. Mosby is the one who did an announcement discussing what she said the evidence was in a nationally televised speech,” said Ivan Bates, who represents Sgt. Alicia White. “Now that it is time to turn over the evidence, to ask for a protective order is beyond disingenuous…”

Mosby claims it’s to help these officers have a fair trial and so they will not be prosecuted in the media, but obviously that’s completely untrue. This is the very person who started off litigating this case through the media. She certainly had no problem using the media to pronounce judgment on the police officers to begin with, not exactly garnering herself any high marks in the “fair and impartial” department.

This new order would make it so that everything autopsy related in any way will be completely hidden from public view. Only the prosecution and defense will be allowed to see Gray’s autopsy documents, and likely it will also automatically require sealed any new documents that even reference the autopsy information.

Hooray for public accountability.

Sarcasm aside, these maneuvers cannot simply be to ward off more riots (as if the people running the show actually want less riots… riots = more government control). Who is even buying that anyway?

Baltimore was another lynch pin in the government’s agenda to further the federalization of our police forces in this country. It has ended in more centralized federal power where law enforcement is concerned. Ferguson got that ball really rolling last year, and if you’ll recall, the evidence and details the public were first given in the Michael Brown case were also varying degrees of misrepresented to completely false. (Soros, just by the way, funded both the Ferguson and Baltimore “protests” to the tune of millions.)

There is something in that autopsy report this woman (and the people behind her) do not want seen by the public.

But if this is such an open-and-shut case, why wouldn’t they want it seen?

Likely because it clashes with the official story… with the information the public was given on how Gray actually died.

Always remember: we may be the next victims of these types of tactics particularly when people like Ms. Mosby and our establishment media urge us into a quick mob mentality judgement without giving us all the facts.
