Charleston SC "Mass Shooting," Suspect Still At Large

Yet another “mass shooting” has taken place and is finding itself on the headlines of both the alternative and mainstream media. This time, the atrocity has taken place in Charleston, S.C.
According to police reports the shooting took place at the Emanuel AME Church in downtown Charleston Wednesday night.
The suspect apparently entered the church and attended the evening prayer meeting for about an hour before opening fire on the other attendees.
As LIVE 5 WCSC reported, ”The suspect is described as a white male, 21 years old with a bowl cut haircut, slender/small build, grey sweat shirt, blue jeans and clean shaven. The suspect is considered armed and dangerous.” The suspects’ name was not released.
The tragedy claimed the lives of nine people, one of them being a State Senator, Clementa Pinckney.
According to the Post and Courier, a bomb threat provided an obstacle to the investigation early on.
The New York Times subsequently reported that, at 10:45 pm, police were seen drawing their weapons and escorted a young man in handcuffs who fit that description.
Police have since declared the gunmen as “at large” and state that they do not have the assailant in custody.
This attack has been labeled a hate crime, although there has been no public announcement of a motive or who the suspect actually might be from the authorities.
An eyewitness, however, shed some light as to the possible motive behind the shooting. The female survivor related to reporters that the gunman
reloaded five different times and that her son was trying to “talk him out of doing the act of killing people.”
But he wouldn’t listen, she said.
“‘You rape our women and you’re taking over our country. And you have to go,’” the shooter told the group, the survivor told Pinckney’s cousin.
It is imperative that neither side take the bait and that they do what they can to get to the bottom of what has happened and who has committed this attack, bring justice upon the perpetrator (or perpetrators), and support one another in their own community as well those members of communities outside their own.
