Ya, ya ya…. and there’s evidence to the fact Japan actually did it to themselves. They had scientists out in the middle of the ocean on a research vessel doing some kind of sonic weapons testing near a huge intersection of a couple of fault lines the day before the earthquake too. It’s hard to conceive we could have poisoned the Pacific Ocean but apparently we have.
Fukishima wasn’t in the bible and neither was General Electric who caused Fukishima. That nuclear disaster is still dumping more radiation in the ocean than ten nuclear plants could in 50 years. I don’t know why anything like this is a surprise to anyone. Radiation (plus all the industrial waste Asia dumps into the oceans) mutates all life forms. This is horrible but I’m not surprised. I only eat North Atlantic fish now and I have since Fukishima. You just don’t know anymore what is safe.
You didn’t read that in any Bible, ljfa, because Revelation 16:3 says “and it became blood”. Now that’s not the same as merely turning blood red, is it? We have red tinged algal blooms often enough to know the difference.

In Moses day when the water turned to blood it was because the Magicians of the day were trying to show off the power they had, by changing the water to blood. Moses under divine instruction match it by putting his rod (walking stick) in the water and watching it turn to blood as well. I don’t know why some of these comments are suggesting people are reading too much into this disaster as being biblical. The bible indicated that the “signs,” indicating the end of civilization as we know it, the moon will turn to blood red, the water. We have blood moons going on this year and now unprecedented red oceans…that’s pretty spot on…it’s not God “causing it,” but rather signs of the times.
And the signs are pointing to the end of tyranny and abuse.

I wish people would keep this religious faith type (belief without proof) mumbo jumbo out of serious scientific based matters.
What may not be know to many people is that under kosher Jewish dietary rules the eating of any fish without fins or scales is forbidden as it is not possible to tell if shellfish is bad by taste or smell when rules were made long ago.
This is the same reason that pork is also forbidden under Jewish and Arabic halal rules as when made people did not have education they do now. These rules are based on good provable science not hearsay. Follow the Jewish diet rules ( not religion, unless you want to) and these things will not affect you.
The day after this toxic bloom all the crabs died…
