Nelson Mandela is portrayed in the mainstream media as a peace-loving anti-apartheid revolutionary and philanthropist. But what is the truth about Nelson Mandela?
60 percent of South Africans felt the country was better run under apartheid, with both blacks and whites rating the current government less trustworthy, more corrupt, less able to enforce the law and less able to deliver government services than its white predecessor.
Transparency International released its 2013 Global Corruption Barometer report. It found South Africa to be among the most corrupt countries in the world. According to its findings, an astounding 83 percent of South Africans believe that the police force is corrupt. And 36 percent of respondents admitted to paying at least one bribe to the police.
A 2010 Medical Research Foundation survey found that more than 37 percent of men admitted to raping at least one woman. Seven percent said they had participated in a gang rape.
59 murders, 145 rapes and 752 serious assaults out of its 42 million population. The new crime is the rape of babies; some AIDS-infected African men believe that having sex with a virgin is a cure. Twelve percent of South Africa’s population is HIV-positive, but President Mbeki says that HIV cannot cause AIDS.
In response to growing violence, South Africa’s minister of safety and security, Steve Tshwete, says: “We can’t police this; there’s nothing more we can do. South Africa’s currency, the rand, has fallen about 70 percent since the African National Congress (ANC) came to power in 1994. Emigration from South Africa (mainly of skilled people) is now at its highest level ever.”
The tragic fact of business is that ordinary Africans were better off under colonialism. Colonial masters never committed anything near the murder and genocide seen under black rule in Rwanda, Burundi, Uganda, Nigeria, Mozambique, and other countries, where millions of blacks have been slaughtered in unspeakable ways, which include: hacking to death, boiling in oil, setting on fire and dismemberment.
The National Bureau of Economic Research found that the average income of all races in South Africa dropped 40% between 1995 and 2000. The UN 2006 Human Development Report found that over the last 3 decades Africa has had a “virtual reversal” of human development; South Africa dropped 38 places on the Human Development Index since 1994. (UN Development Programme, 2007). The country of the world’s first heart transplant (Christian Barnard, Dec., 1967), the Union of South Africa, is now the rape and murder capital of the world. [15]

• Truth about South African icon at odds with public portrayal

As South Africa’s 95-year-old Nelson Mandela lies in the hospital, the worldwide media portrays him as a larger-than-life heroic figure and the liberator of his people. But is that truth or fiction? And how will honest historians judge him?
The official story goes something like this: Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela was born in 1918 into the Thembu tribe’s royal family. He studied law at two prestigious universities and became involved in “anti-colonial politics,” joining the African National Congress (ANC). He was committed to non-violent protest in gaining sovereignty for blacks. In 1962 he was arrested and convicted of sabotage and conspiracy to overthrow the government and was sentenced to life in prison.
An international campaign lobbied for his release, which was granted in 1990, and he was hailed as martyr of white racism by the international media. This popularity propelled him to be elected president of South Africa in 1994, where he continued with his struggle to “end ethnic tensions and bring about racial equality.” Over the years, Mandela has received over 250 awards, including the 1993 Nobel Peace Prize, the U.S. Presidential Medal of Freedom and the Soviet Order of Lenin.
That’s the official story. His critics, however, have a different opinion.
They point to the fact that Mandela was not imprisoned for opposing apartheid, or segregation, in Africa, but for being a communist terrorist murderer-bomber in service to the Soviet Union.
The ANC’s guerrilla force, known as uMkhonto we Sizwe—MK, or “Spear of the Nation”—was founded in 1961 by Mandela and his advisor, the Lithuanian-born communist Jew Joe Slovo, born Yossel Mashel Slovo, who was officially named secretary general of the South African Communist Party in 1986.
Slovo had been the planner of many of the ANC terrorist attacks, as detailed in the book Victory or Violence: The Story of the AWB of South Africa, including the January 8, 1982 attack on the Koeberg nuclear power plant near Cape Town, the Church Street bombing on May 20, 1983, which killed 19 people, and the June 14, 1986 car-bombing of Magoo’s Bar in Durban, in which three people were killed and 73 injured.
In 1962, Mandela was arrested along with 19 others, half of whom were White communist Jews, in a police raid of ANC headquarters at a farm owned by Andrew Goldreich, also a communist Jew, at Rivonia, a Johannesburg suburb.
In the Rivonia Trial, which took place between 1963 and 1964, the defendants were tried for 221 acts of sabotage designed to overthrow the government and conspiring to aid foreign military units, when they invaded SA to further the objects of communism.
The prosecutor, Percy Yutar said at the trial that “production requirements for munitions were sufficient to blow up a city the size of Johannesburg.”
Escaping the death sentence, Mandela was given life in prison.

i don’t think he was ever in prison.
I believe he spent some of his prison time on house arrest.
Mandela was a terrorist but it was ‘justified’ because he was fighting for so called freedom.Things are really bad for the white people in South Africa.Black Empowerment policies that gives the black man a job over the more qualified white man. ( that is why they all immigrate ) and then there is Employment Equity.Another law making it for the white man nearly impossible to get work.The ANC government is extremely racist.The blacks had all the opportunities in the last 25 years,but they still fail and yet they still blame apartheid.

Farm murders on white farmers are extremely violent. (www.genocidewatch.org).If you have a sensitive stomach,don’t google white people and farmers ( Boere ) being murdered in South Africa.Babies being burnt alive,woman gang raped and being hacked to pieces etc.And all you hear on the news is that the racist Police say it is an isolated incident and it is being investigated.But don’t let a white man say Nigger ( Kaffer ) in public,then you get a prison sentence.There is only 4 million whites in South Africa compared to the 45 million blacks.
In apartheid,the worst that happened to the blacks was a whip or a baton.Some were shot if they were violent.More white people are dying during the ‘democratic South Africa’ than all the blacks in the Border war (which had nothing to do with the domestic problem of that time) and apartheid together.More white people in South Africa died in the early 90′s than in the Croatian war,but the ‘busybody’world said nothing.
The South African Army was once a fearful army.Highly disciplined,highly trained.They had the best technologies in the 80′s ( Armored personnel vehicles.Weapons far more superior than NATO. )The South African white soldiers of that era is still used in hot spots around the world as mercenaries ,because of their vast knowledge in counter insurgency.Now their army is a horrible joke.
It is the 3 rd time the Euro Africans ( As they are called by the blacks ) gave their country up.The first two times were against the British and their jewish bankers who threw the White Farmer ( Boer ) in concentration camps to die. ( St Helana Islands ) because they wanted the gold and diamonds.I guess there was a reason for apartheid – ( Translation is called – ‘Separation’ )The white man’s forefathers knew how brutal and uncivilized the blacks were in South Africa.The only race that develops anything in Africa is the white man.
The South African black people in general, just sit and do nothing,living of the government who get their tax money from the minority whites who actually have businesses ,but suffer under the labour laws- the workers get very violent and even militant when they strike.Their Unions do nothing.You are not allowed just to fire them.They are protected by silly laws preventing that,or else you are a racist.
Things will never change.I have been in Africa,and South Africa is one of the most beautiful countries in Africa,but they are ruled by a corrupt black ANC government.

If you are white, don’t bother saying anything on the apartheid system. Black people are not lazy or violent. you would know this if you would take time to get to know people, instead of being closed minded bigots. you have no idea how much we struggled! y’all have white privilege, and I have black blood, sweat, and tears. Oh ok, so lets see, a African American, who by the way have no ties to South Africa, want to tell me that I as a white South African that actually stay here and lived through “apartheid” should not comment. I don’t think so. First let me advice you to get rid of that self proclaimed victim mentality you sit with. Here is some facts you can easily go check for verification. Mandela was a terrorist, he personally gave the approval for all the bombings that took place. His wife Whinny over saw the brutal “necklacing” of black ppl that were seen as spies. Necklacing is where they put tires around a person, pour petrol over them and then set them alight, burning alive. When the Truth and Reconciliation Committee was brought into being, Mandela out right refused to give full disclosure of what his role was and all the actions he approved. For you see by doing that the picture of the “good old man” that was being portrayed world wide would be tarnished. Here is some more facts for you. out of 45mil black ppl, 17mil are on “social welfare”, no work just sit around and do nothing while getting paid by the state. Pre 1994 unemployment was just under 8%, post 1994 we currently sit with 37% unemployment. Murder rate from 1948 to 1990 (NP apartheid) was +/- 24000, now under ANC tule for the past 22 years the murder rate stands at 340 000 and counting. Under apartheid 23bil Rand was skimmed, of witch 20bil Rand has been recouped. From 1994 till 2017 under the ANC 800bil Rand has been, “lost”, “stolen” or is just plain missing and they are still counting.
