Slavery never truly ended, it merely transformed itself. Once, we had horrors like the Dutch slave trade, and now we have the horrors of global debt slavery. As more nations like Greece collapse under the weight of debt obligations to the international banking cartel, and as more of the world’s people are forced into austerity and suffrage in order to appease the richest people in the world, it will become ever more clear that the global system of debt slavery is finally collapsing.
At some point in our evolution, human beings developed the fear of death and the fear of future loss, traits that animals do not share. When used against us, these arguably irrational fears make us highly exploitable, and as such, humans have long been the most valuable resource on the planet, capable of the most extraordinary achievements, all too often receiving the most inhumane treatment.
Originally, slavery was gruesome, brutal and quite direct, but it has evolved over the last number of centuries to include more sophisticated and cunning means of caging people. More like a psyop than a plantation now, management of today’s human farm is accomplished by setting boundaries, continuously over-stimulating fears and fantasies, rewarding high-productivity, and violently punishing divergence.

We are born into a cage that has been under construction for generations. It’s foundation is the institution of government, the state, which uses economics and violence as the primary tools to manage the world’s people as though they were livestock. Human farms with human livestock managed by selected humans who act as farmers in charge of overseeing the highest possible yield.
In order to keep us in line and productive, we are indoctrinated to believe in the authority and necessity of the state. Then we are taught how to be competitive and divisive, learning to see our peers and colleagues as rivals. After that we are hammered with fear programming our entire lives, constantly being told when to hunker down and when to duck and run.
Given a comfortable enough box to live in, we are indeed quite productive, and so we are offered the blue pill, the grand illusion of freedom. When happy, we produce more, and when we produce more we are rewarded with more money, which affords improvements to the cage and embellishments in lifestyle. The freedoms that the state permits us are there to give us just enough room in pasture to acquiesce easily enough to a caged life.

We the people feed the machine whatever it needs, and if we try to break out we are quickly rounded up and put back in amongst the herd. I can see how that was not entirely clear. So allow me to elaborate. The NaZi’s put the Jews in slave labor camps, even though they hid under bridges, fled the country and voted for people who didn’t want to put them in those camps. So being able to flee, vote/on paper can get elected or hide doesn’t mean you are not a slave or soon end up to be one. Furthermore at Neuremberg NaZi officials were convicted for crimes against humanity, for one for using a part of the population as slave labor. In their defense they used arguments like, we were just following the (democratic) law, they could leave etc., but this did not save them because these arguments didn’t change the fact that they put people in slave labor camps. Nor are they justifications, as a piece of paper (law) does not makes aggression/enslavement right, nor the fact that you can run or hide from it. I hope this clarifies things, if I have misunderstood what you were saying please let me know.

After being a productive worker for the last 23 years I think this would have been possible if a majority of my earnings hadn’t gone to energy , ,inflated Intrest rates and taxes to a bunch of idiots. Sure I could go live in a cave or go bush but I don’t think that the wife and kids would be too happy with that.

The change that Stefan Molyneux is referring to is being brought about by the internet, and by automation. Because of these, there are fewer and fewer jobs in the west but more and more immigrants coming to the west. There will come a breaking point where the have-nots of the domestic populations who DO own weapons rise up against the have-nots of the immigrant populations who do NOT.
This will not bring about the downfall of government as an institution. After all the mayhem that ensues is over, there will be only 2 classes of people. To placate the vast majority there will have to be some kind of guaranteed minimum income. Since the return to a Gold standard is likely, governments won’t be able to print money at will, but will instead have to shift the burden of taxation from its own citizens to foreign citizens and foreign countries. This will bring about smaller but more powerful governments supported by that vast majority receiving its guaranteed minimum income. It should also bring about the downfall of POLITICS as an institution, not GOVERNMENT.

Logically and legally you shouldn’t be paying taxes on anything like services. Let’s say that I come to an agreement with an employer that my work is worth 20 Euros per hour, and he gives me 20 Euros in cash for each hour of work I do for him. Am I making a profit on this? NO! Because I’m trading 20 Euros of work for 20 Euros in cash. 20 Euros for 20 Euros. No profit there! So how can it be taxed.
The concept that labour is free but wages are taxed means that the legal footing of the labourer is less than that of the corporation, and because corporations pay taxes not on income but on profit, you can do the same thing.

Illegal aliens are flown in by the thousands through our State Department, and given free schooling, medical care, housing, food, clothing, internet, cable TV, etc….all at the expense of the vets and hard-working people.
The U.S. has troops in 150 countries right now. They are the private police force and crusaders for corporations which rape and pillage working Americans and create the slave labor force. It has always been about oil, gold, copper, uranium, water, farm land, diamonds and the like. How about ‘illegal’ drugs coming out of Afghanistan, for example? The corporations control the politicians, and our military/industrial complex. The corporations are allowed to brainwash and place under a Matrix-style mind control system all people in the U.S. Reality is so far from what is written in school textbooks or shown on Fox News or CNN that it is laughable.
Yes, unless one stays out of debt (which the Bible recommends over 800 times just in the Old Testament) you do become a slave to it. The corporate masters convince you to buy stuff you don’t need, with money you don’t have, and all to impress people that you don’t even like. Crazy.
