Father Arrested After Shooting Drone Hovering Over Sunbathing Daughters (Video)
Hell hath no fury like a father protecting his daughters, and when one Louisville dad realized a drone with a camera was lingering a little too long above his sunbathing daughters, he promptly grabbed his shotgun.
William Merideth said he shot the drone and soon thereafter four men showed up on his property.
“They asked me, ‘Are you the S-O-B that shot my drone?’ and I said, ‘Yes I am,’” Merideth explained. “I had my Glock on me and they started toward me and I told them, ‘If you cross my sidewalk, there’s gonna be another shooting.’”
There wasn’t another shooting, but a little while later, police showed up at Meridith’s door and arrested him. Meridith was charged for wanton endangerment first degree and criminal mischief, because he fired his gun into the air and shot down the drone that was hovering above his sunbathing daughter.
