Iran’s Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei on US Objective of Splitting Up Syria and Iraq and ISIS
The Leader of Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei says Iran will counter the United States’ political, economic and cultural influence, despite the recent nuclear agreement between Tehran and the P5+1.
Iran’s leader noted that all efforts will be made to firmly block the Americans’ infiltration into the country, if the nuclear deal is passed. Elsewhere in his remarks, Ayatollah Khamenei expressed deep concern for the oppressed people of Yemen. He condemned Saudi Arabia’s destructive military offensive against its neighbor, and gave assurances that Iran will continue to support the Arab nation in its difficult situation. Ayatollah Khamenei also warned that the US is plotting to partition Syria and Iraq, adding however that it will fail to do so. Ayatollah Khamenei made the remarks in a meeting with participants at the 8th summit of the General Assembly of Islamic Radio and Television Union in Tehran.
