I am completely and utterly outraged right now…

Over the weekend I heard that the United States Navy may charge Lieutenant Commander (LCDR) Timothy White for “illegally” using his sidearm against Mohammed Abdulazeez – the terrorist who opened fire at a recruiting station and reserve training center in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

This is total insanity… and certainly a new low for defense politics.

My friend and fellow patriot LTC Allen West, USA (Ret) broke the news first, and then I read a report on August 3rd that quoted a defense official as saying the Navy is “exploring” whether or not White “contributed to the chaos and got people killed.”

If you are as outraged and disgusted as I am, then I need you to join with me in taking action right now.

First, call your members of Congress and demand that they come to the defense of LCDR White should the Navy seek to immorally charge him for heroic actions on July 16 – dial (202) 224-3121.

Then, sign the Special Operations Speaks petition demanding an end to “Gun-Free Zones” at military workplaces.

Per the Constitution, the Navy is subject to the United States Congress – so urging legislators to act on this is exactly what we need to be doing right now. Don’t let anyone tell you differently.

White has got to be defended and “Gun-Free Zones” – which are really “Free-Fire Zones” for killers and terrorists – have got to be eliminated.

Let’s make sure that federal offices are flooded with petitions and voicemails when legislators return from their recess next month.
