DECISIVE VERDICT: 82% of Syrians Believe the West Created ISIS

In a poll taken to 1,365 Syrians, from all regions of the country, an incredible 82% of them believe that the U.S. and its allies created ISIS. Moreover, only 21% prefer life now than under Assad, which essentially torpedoes the Western mantra that Assad has to go no matter what.

At this point, such a statistic should hardly even be surprising. Russia has slammed Western actions in Syria as ‘social engineering‘, where they interfered to such a degree that it completely destabilised the country and region.
Russia’s President Putin has been the only world leader to openly name and shame the West as the culprits in the Syrian crisis, which has even led to a situation where Russian boots are now on the ground, working with Damascus, trying to clean up the mess.
Thankfully, the U.S. is now being forced to table with the Russians and Assad, as the migrant crisis continues to blight Europe.

The Syrians along with the Russians are, of course, correct in their decisive verdict. Since almost day one of the Syrian Civil War, the U.S. and its allies have been covertly, and materially, supporting the rebels who sought to overthrow the internationally recognised government of Syria under Assad.
Those supposed ‘moderates‘ and freedom lovers, who the West was supporting, became what we know today as ISIS. The only positive we might find in this story is that attempts to pull a similar move, elsewhere in the future, may be recognised before escalating to this level.
Who should Syrian’s hold personally accountable for the destruction of their country? And, will they ever be brought to justice?
