According to the story a massive earthquake struck South America opening up a rift exposing fossils that revealed secrets from our mysterious past when giants walked the earth.  

We aren’t talking giants of the reptilian kind but of the upright walking man kind.

The questions that came to mind when I first saw the picture were…

#1 What’s the biggest human fossil ever found?
#2  Are these a race of super beings that somehow suffered the same fate as that of the dinosaur?
#3  How come instead o  f a cool caveman like Brendan Fraser this couldn’t have been what Pauly Shore found in the backyard of 1992′s Critically Acclaimed Encino Man.

So I fired up my keyboard, logged onto the internets and asked jeeves…
What’s the largest human skeleton/fossil ever found?

In a Bronze age cemetery in France, anthropologist unearthed some bones said to be from an individual who stood 11 feet 6 inches tall (3.5m)
The bones were somewhere between 10 and 12,000 years old (neolithic period) and judged to be froma very tall race of humans.
However they usually bear the traits like strange bone formations, double rows of teeth which lead researchers to believe they suffered from some type of growth abnormality or genetic disorder.

The title of “The tallest man in medical history for whom there is irrefutable evidence…” goes to Robert Wadlow, who was last measured on June 27 of 1940 at a whopping 8 feet 11 inches tall. (2.72m)
giving him an arm span of over 9 feet in length. (2.88m)

#2  Some out there believe that these are the children of the sons of God and the daughters of men mentioned in Genesis Chapter 6 verse 4 of the bible.
The Nephilim  were in the earth in those days, and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bore children to them; the same were the mighty men that were of old, the men of renown. 
Nephilim were part of a giant race of men who lived in Canaan.  

A famous character from the bible who was said to be Nephilim was the giant Goliath killed by a young shepherd boy who’s only weapon was a slingshot.

#3  Damn you Encino man screenwriter for writing a delightful comedy instead of turning it into a blockbuster action flick full of Pauly Shore eating giants!

Apparently internets we are just not that lucky…but imagine that thing swallowing Pauly Shore whole and ending an inevitable fading acting career about 5 films sooner.
The world would never have been punished with  this…
or this..

So, is this the real skull of some spawn of a fallen angel, or long lost race of giant humans?
Or is it a hoax?
Its a hoax!  And a nicely done one at that.  The image was created for digital editing contest  on the website Worth10000 where the challenge was to create a hoax archaeological discovery that looks so real, people would have to do a “double take.”
I think they succeeded.
