U.S. officials have asked Toyota how ISIS has managed to acquire a large number of SUVs and pick-up trucks spotted in the terror group’s propaganda videos, ABC News reported Tuesday.

Videos released by the terror group in the past year show gunmen patrolling streets in Syria in older and newer model Hilux pick-up trucks with the black caliphate seal displayed on flags on the vehicle’s hoods and traveling through Libya in caravans of Toyota Land Cruisers.

The inquiry led by the Terror Financing unit of the Treasury Department is part of U.S. efforts to prevent ISIS from obtaining Western-made goods. source
