Hillary: “Bordering” on McBehavior

Babeu, Clinton and McCain all shameless reruns

Almost six years ago, Arizona’s very senior U.S. Senator and the Pinal County Sheriff took a stroll along the Arizona-Sonora border. They were, of course, accompanied by TV cameras and campaign consultants.

Sheriff Paul Babeu and Señor Juan McAmnesty were unified in embracing the popular posture of border security, including the senatorial utterance, “Complete the danged fence!”

The deceptive duo and Hillary Clinton have a lot in common; doing or saying whatever is politically expedient. As a member of Obama’s administration, Hillary continually praised the flawed Pacific Trade deal. CNN actually counted 45 times she pushed the scheme. But as a desperate candidate lagging in the polls, Hillary now opposes the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) she previously supported, prompting mocking responses from several of her Democrat presidential rivals.

All three of these hypocrites are once again candidates. McCain, who immediately after getting reelected, developed a case of amnesia regarding the fence and instead with his junior senator Jeff Flake, Marco Rubio and contingent of liberals McCain characterizes as “bi-partisans,” put together the amnesty pushing Gang of Eight. Though he will be 80 by Election Day, he’s running for yet another 6-year term.

Babeu shelved his previous congressional campaign when news of his gay romance with an illegal alien and photos he wished he never took, hit the news.  But Babeu is back in the First Congressional District race again, no doubt feeling “sophisticated” voters have become blasé to homosexual exploits since Bruce/Caitlyn Jenner has made such issues trendy.

Babeu’s border buddy McCain abandoned him last cycle after his house playing with now former beau Jose Orozco became too hot for the dodging codger. As he dithers in his dotage, McCain’s  mission is clear: to turn “the world’s greatest deliberative body” into “the nation’s most exclusive Senior Day Care Center,” to give him a place to wile away his time, no matter the consequence to Arizona or our nation. Babeu doubtless aims to one day play house while in the U.S. House.

Despite McCain’s notorious lapses in memory, his sense of political survival never leaves him, The only thing that exceeds that sense of survival is his own shameless hypocrisy. It was on display during that TV commercial in 2010, as he lied about legislation, lied about completing the fence, and established a non-border sheriff with a checkered past as a “border authority.”

A tough primary campaign and $30 million later, once safely re-elected McCain returned to his old ways as we had been warned, sponsoring amnesty for illegals with his infamous Gang of Eight. 

And Hillary? She’s now dancing to the two-step used by McCain in 2010. How else to explain her reversal on TPP? Regardless of her switchbacks on numerous  issues, there is one policy position that Hillary will never abandon— she is all in for amnesty. In fact, recent reports predict that illegal aliens who are illegally registered to vote in the U.S. may give her the margin of votes she needs to win the presidency. They will be joined by John McCain, who has called Hillary Clinton a “rock star” he could support.

Newcomers to Arizona’s political scene need this dose of truth. They won’t get it  in the local media.
